What price do you expect an ultraportable screen to cost? Keeping in mind you have a MacbookAir over a conventional windows based laptop.

We use these at work, they are good.
Does anyone know if this can be used with Samsung DeX? Guessing not as it doesn't have HDMI...
How does this work if i wanted to connect this to my pc graphic card for gaming as it doesn't have a usb-c slot. Would it accept an adapter usb-c to hdmi or dp
I have one for work and it is great. It has a crisp picture and very handy when working on laptops.

I’ve had the MB16AC for a couple of years. Use it daily as a 3rd screen with my work laptop. Never a problem with the screen quality and the flexibility of taking it with my laptop when I travel.

Yes it can. USB C from phone to USB A on monitor.
Can be uses with dex but destroys the battery in your phone in no time.

Aye, possibly something that can be hooked up via powered USB-C hub to HDMI would be better

Interested in the answer to this myself. Though in my case for a HDMI equipped Laptop.

If you are using a device like a phone to power this it will drain it quickly.
I’ve check on amazon there’s like 10 different configurations, is this the best 1 in terms of price for features and It’s value?
What are you people using this for? is it helpful in reducing number of gadgets to be carried during travel? Not sure why you would want to use it with a laptop when one has a screen anyway.

I paid a bit over £100 for one of these screens from a no name manufacturer (Tao from memory) via eBay from a UK seller. It came in a few days and was great for my purposes (ultra portable extra screen) for work and home. Seems a bit expensive for the name / vendor

It gives you a portable 2nd screen, which is really useful if you are a developer or analyst. Especially if you work across different/multiple work locations.
Can this be used with a HDMI connection via a USB-C dock?

Thanks for that. I can see why I could not think of a particular use for regular daily use or travel.

Maybe in your world but not for everybody.

I'm an analyst and I'd one for my last job role. Very handy for screen mirroring and presenting to a couple of people in a small meeting room. Also handy if i was in an office where there wasnt an additional monitor.

I travelled a lot around different offices / meeting rooms / buildings where you couldnt guarantee there would be a screen or that you'd have access to power.

The fact it doesnt need its own power source is really good. Handy for an ad hoc meeting if presenting a document to a small group.

I loved mine. Dont need one in my currenty role, but i'd have no hesitation in recommending one.

Nope how would this be used in a meeting? Large meeting too small. Small meeting youd use the laptop or tablet... even a portable projector is better. Maybe stop trying to jump on the bandwagon of clueless people, get a job and your own opinion.

Most meetings aren't one person standing up giving a motivational speech to a board. This isn't an 80s Hollywood film.

Most of the meetings I'm in involve splitting into focus groups, and this would be pretty handy for that. And it's not true that all meeting rooms have projectors - especially in hotels, often they won't have one, or it'll be broken, or it'll cost a lot to hire.

Thanks for letting me know that I can't ever agree with anyone else though. You're so edgy and cool with your controversial opinions.

You're being a jockey.
You could have your own PC facing you with PowerPoint in presenter mode where you are able to read your presenting notes, and spin this screen round facing a small audience of 1,2,3 people who can just see the content.

Also, not every meeting room has projection or screen facilties.
Also, plenty of meeting rooms get pulled to bits - Ive been in many where the cables have been pulled out, or the screen won't switch (people even rob the remote batteries!)
Lastly, you might have a laptop with USB C, the room has HDMI or displayport and you might not have an adaptor.

This seems like a low stress way of not having to deal with any of that.

If you argue the utility, it literally will be for the sake of argument. Like Apple haters. Carbon bike haters, and all the other juvenile haters who type Micro$oft and other juvenile shiz on here
