    It's motherboard designe not PSU, poor vrms with no cooling. Same PSU powers my rendering/photogrammetry system that has r9 3950x, 6x1tb sata SSDs on raid card, thunderbolt and firewire cards and gtx 1080+rtx2060ti GPUs

    This board is mostly ok but it can't handle more than 6 core /12 threads processors. I had ryzen 3900x and 5800x crashing under load without fail... Every time

    that's strange this board should be capable. see CPU support list asus.com/Mot…PU/. bios out of date seems to be a common complaint

    Nope, good old corsair ax860w has plenty headroom
