Not bad, don't like that the card has no backplate though.

agreed but it seems that according to very limited reviews out there, it doesnt seem to affect the performance. Temperatures seem to be pretty stable during benchmarking and fans running extremely quiet. Am currently playing no mans sky on near full settings.

Not into a 4GB version. Not into a 3GB 1060 as well.

must stress that those requiring 4k gaming should not think about this card. But for simpletons like me who love 1080p this is the card for you!

Also note Scan have free delivery offers for Hexus or AVForums members.

Am i missing something or am i right in seeing that you don't actually get a copy of the game?

Yes that's right. All it does is upgrade a standard copy you need to purchase, to this special edition.

True, it'll cost about twice as much or pre for a sine card solution at this time though

The 4GB 480 was £173.99 around launch from eBuyer. Happy days.

At £213 it's just too close to the £230 6GB 1060.

Is there much difference between this and a 380? Its played everything I've thrown at it so far on high settings.

An A380 is much bigger and more powerful.

yea the temps will not be effected it's more of an aesthetics thing. I went with the 4gb nitro though when it was £199, have no regrets.

I mean, the 170ish 1060 3gb was a great deal.

The 480 4gb at 213 is a bit of a joke!
