Fans of Asus's Republic of Gaming collaboration might like this deal — an ROG Strix 35" gaming monitor for £589.98 with free next-day delivery from Ebuyer. On release, the main complaint against this ultra-wide VA panel was the price — so at this discounted rate some of those quibbles might be allayed.

The ultra-wide curved screen maximises your field of vision to 142 degrees to create a feeling of total immersion in the game. I haven't played on one, but the reviewers seem to really like it.

According to ROG:
The Adaptive-Sync (FreeSync™) technology delivers the smoothest, fastest, and most breathtaking gaming visuals imaginable by eliminating screen tearing and choppy frame rates, and by minimising display stutter and input lag. ROG Strix XG35VQ gives you seamless, lag-free visuals when playing the latest games with fast-moving visuals.

RGB so it will increase your PC Performance by at least 20%

Great monitor. Had a 35” predator z35p before it which I think was slightly better personally but great value for money and even better on credit. Paid similar at prime day. Beware the backpanel, rather stiff and prone to snapping

The back part is nice and subtle. The light underneath is quite tacky imho

No not the pc performance. My skill increased 20% when RGB installed.
it's still shocking that these high-end gaming monitors don't have proper HDR it's the one missing thing that will make them super awesome

Speakers I'm not as fussed about.
I'm seriously thinking of just getting a qled TV with hdr10 instead.

Suppose it depends on what you’re using it for. 100hz + make more of a difference than I thought it would when I changed

Some of qleds have native 120hz panels but it means using hdmi.

From what I've read, you won't get 120hz on a TV @4k if using HDMI but you will when GPUs start using HDMI 2.1. I've been wanting an ultrawide but there seems to be more value in getting a 4k TV as a monitor.
Screen bleed for sure

That's true but there's a HDMI 2.1 to display port converter lead to which allows this.
it's going to be released soon so I'm waiting to see what kind of results they get with it before buying a HDMI 2.1 TV so I can fully enjoy real hdr1000 and 100-120hz 4K pc gaming. Fingers crossed
