It's the most expensive B350 board, but B350 is the mid range chipset for AM4.

better off with Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3for £86.99

If you want a crappier brand for a mobo, yes.
much better reviews than asus

The reviews for B350 motherboards are largely pointless because a lot of them were before the BIOS updates which supported faster ram speeds.

Gigabyte for the most part are a terrible brand with terrible customer service.
cold as you can MSI X370 GAMING PRO CARBON for £9 more or the the asus prime x370 for £133 or the msi x370 gaming plus for £100

I have the Gaming 3 mobo and personally don’t recommend it, had no end of problems trying to get my ram speed up and still can’t get it above 2133mhz despite having 3200mhz ram
I did a build for my son with this (paid £120-ish). Excellent reviews and one of the easiest builds that I have done.

Still problems getting the memory working at full speed, so I will have to look at it over Christmas when he is back at home.

Saving up the pennies for a Samsung 950 M2 to slot in there.
This board is pretty great overall. I have it with a R7 1700, overclocked to 3.8 GHz on all cores and running 32GBs RAM at 2933MHz (with inexpensive ADATA XPG). The VRMs are not the absolute best (would not pair it with 1800x), but they are pretty good and would suit most. The offset voltage settings of the B350s are a bit of a pain, but if that does not bother you and you want a premium looking board for less, I would definitely say this is worth this price. HEAT ADDED!
Decent board, I have it with a 1600x @ 4ghz, no problems with ram @ 2933 (just make sure you refer to the qvl on Asus site) pretty sure it was a fraction under £100 when I got it, at just over this it is still just about hot for me. Any more and its too close to the x370.
I've got one of these with a 1600 at 3.8 and 16gb at 2933mhz, great board with lots of fan headers, RGB, crossfire etc. and really easy to build with and overclock. Best MB I've ever used.

Did you buy 3000MHz version?

It's actually the 3200 cl16 kit, it's not on the qvl but it was £50 cheaper than the kit that is at the time so I took the gamble (after all I could always return it). It's worked from day 1 at 2933 but won't boot at 3200, I'm happy with that for the moment until amd sort out the last kinks in memory support.

Ok thanks for answering.

Bit of a minefield when reading what everybody is using with Ryzen
there you go
This board is awesome, bought on Black Friday. It's pretty and works right out of the box with Ryzen (I'm on R5 1600). At first I couldn't get RAM above 2133mhz but this was solved with a BIOS update, now running 16gb at 2933mhz.
Grabbed this with a Ryzen 5 1600 for the Asus promo not long ago and paired it with 8GB (2x4) of Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz. Got it running at 2933MHz without any problems. Excellent board.

How much was it BF? Same price?

Heat from me. Built a pc with this last month. 3000MHz ram set to 2933 with no problems, R5 1600 easily overclocked to 3.9 with no problems either. Solid motherboard for the price.

I have had some issues with running this board. After installing it with an R5 1600 and 2400mhz RAM i would get black screens at random times, as if the GPU was completely cutting out. The rest of the board still was running though, and I would have to power it down via the socket. Couldnt get memory to run at the right speed either.

After days of testing memory, and general fiddling with software and hardware. I deleted AI Suite and everything started to work fine. Memory at full speed, and I can even overclock to 4GHZ.

The board itself is great, but annoyed that AI suite caused so many issues.

Yeah roughly about the same price.
Having ordered yesterday I've received this email.

"Due to a supplier stock allocation error we are currently unable to ship your order.

We've been advised that we will receive our correct stock on Monday the 18th, at which point we can dispatch your order for it to be with you no later than Wednesday."

Hope this is useful, they did offer refund also.
