No,

that CPU is garbage and bottlenecks the 2060.

Tbh they're about the same. Better GPU but the processor bottlenecks it. The performance on this laptop will be slightly better due to better CPU, but we're talking 5-10 FPS depending on the game. Likely won't notice in moment to moment gameplay.

I think this one is 8gb ram. I went with the ASUS TUF deal due to 16gb ram. I know 8gb is technically enough for gaming, but these days only just. I'd rather have the 16 so I have some leeway.

The 1tb SSD is appealing in this one though, I wonder if that's right? You don't see that often, it's usually a 256ssd + 1tb hdd
This is a good deal but hard to vote hot when last week you could get an acer predator helios 300 with i7 9750h pre under volted 1660ti over clockable gfx 144hz ips display for £800 that was a great deal, might be back next week for black friday possibly
Great laptop. I had one until I moved to gaming pc. Make sure ram is 16gb. There is a slot for 2.5” drive (easy to remove bottom and install).

speakers are great. IPS panel isn’t that great in terms of colour. I found the IPS screen slightly worse than the Zephyrus S variant.

gaming though it’s great and cooling is very decent. Just watch out for fan noise from laptop as usual.

You can still get it now. My issue with that deal though as it's with Very and you have to apply for a credit account with them. My credit score is all over the place as it is, don't really want another credit account going on there

Its not £800 any more its £999 the extra 20% off has finished. But i understand why you and others dont want the credit hassle though. but for me its a £1200 laptop for £800 and the 1660ti over clocked and with the cpu under volt by acer it performs better than a 2060 in many tests

I agree, its ok for a 1650 and a 1660
what about hotukdeals.com/dea…084
particularly this laptop's quality (Lenovo's) compared with Asus Rog Strix ?
If anyone is in store to confirm what RAM and if it is 1TB SSD not HDD. If its 16GB and SSD I'm going to Leeds to get this.
