Spec is a little bit wayward and imbalanced, but still ~£1k for a GTX1060 with G-Sync seems a good price for an entry gamer

People pay more for a watch to tell the time on, in the same way their phone does! Consumerism at it's finest.

Yes, of course.
If my 12 year old son saw this he would probably want one, and I suppose I'd probably get it for him (so I won't show him the advertisement - he does not need it). Following on from what you say - by coincidence I've just bought my son a nice Longines watch for his 13th birthday - for about the same amount, he doesn't need that either but it is what he wants and will look smart. As you comment: consumerism at its best; as I comment: people just have too much money!

A laptop that's also a laptop and does all the stuff a laptop does as well as being a very capable gaming device.
Sorry, what? Is over £1K for a GTX 1060 good value as far as laptops go? I'm genuinely asking as a price like that on a desktop would represent truly awful value but I don't know much about the laptop market.

Around the £1k mark is what's to be expected for a 1060 powered laptop. 1050/1050ti in the £800-£900 range. 1070 around £1300. Two 1080s more like the best part of £3000

Bear in mind this isn't even the 6GB 1060 but a 3GB one. For a similar price it's possible to get a 6GB 1060 if you look hard enough.

Hi can you show where from, I'm currently looking for a gaming laptop to use whilst travelling and the best I can find in 15.6 inch is a 1050ti under a grand.

What a rude man you are.
I don't understand the massive down-voting on this. It's seen as a good model I believe, and I can't see it cheaper. Am I missing something? I'm certainly very keen to know about anything comparable for a similar price...
