Let's see how rude people are going to be to you.
I heard this model does not support dual channel RAM, is that true? Kinda deal breaker when it comes packaged with Ryzen CPU. Also saw this model elsewhere for cheaper but the deal is off now. But that single-channel ram kills this deal, not a great deal.

notebookcheck.net/Asu…tml "Users can add 16 GB more for a total of 32 GB in dual-channel configuration since there is one free SODIMM slot".

It's definetely going to work in dual channel.

It does support dual channel, I bought it earlier this year and can confirm.

One DIMM is soldered to the board, and the second is not soldered and easily accessible once you take the back off of the laptop. Which you'll want to do when you replace the absolutely terrible Wifi chip, as well as add an extra NVMe SSD (has to be NVMe, can't use SATA).

I see, then it's not that bad of a deal but this one is better:hotukdeals.com/dea…097
£860 for a "as new" 16GB version on Amazon Warehouse.

This one has better specs box.co.uk/Ace…ate and some extra items for free (mouse/headset) but the display is worse you would probably have to buy a new one and replace it.

It has a worse CPU, half of RAM, 1/4 of SSD capacity, 60hz screen instead of 120, more weight, much more thickness.

Maybe double-check before disinforming.

That CPU is better for gaming, it is in fact better for everything so what do you mean worse CPU? The only thing that Ryzen is better at is having an amazing GPU but that's kind of irrelevant when you have a dedicated graphic card in anyway. The screen is a downside true but you can replace it to 120hz one for 40pounds and u can buy another stick of ram for another 30 or so but even then the SSD is better on this one true. Come to think of it this might be the better deal after all, but in the other you do get the few extras like headphones/mouse and you get Intel CPU which is better for gaming and slight performance boost but I guess not everybody likes to min-maxxing everything so this deal is probably better.
It has 16gb ram..
back up to £1200 unfortunately
