You build your own laptops? What chassis do you use?
To all the "cheaper to build a desktop comments", totally agree with you. However, I don't quite understand how the saving isn't a deal? If this is the laptop that one wants to purchase then a saving of 300 quid surely must constitute as a deal no?

I believe the above user was just being sarcastic, but if you Google clevo or laptop barebone you can get a laptop yourself and put all the parts yourself in

There's actually good deals to be had on 17inch not really portable machines

Yeah I've seen that chassis used a few times
Specs are very similar to my ROG Hero 3
I have the 17inch, it's very thin all round. The screen is amazing too.
Only downside is it has just 3 USB ports.
What a magnificent price for hota UK deals members. We are here to save few pounds and here the laptop is £2000.

Dude, it's just this site. There doesn't seem to be an understanding of thin gaming laptops. They think something twice as thick that costs a bit less is a deal over this. Powerful portable gaming laptops on here never seem to get heat regardless of the saving on RRP. I did lots of shopping around across black Friday to now. Finally settled on a Triton with same specs for 1599 and it still went cold as a deal. You could post a razer blade with 300quid off and it would still go cold. I don't think I've seen a single thin gaming laptop on here go hot

The mind boggles. It's not even about the product but the saving. It's just common sense.
