220grams? BRICKA BRICKA!

Yeah, heavy means quality to me, I'll take a 220g phone with a 6000mAh battery in it all day, rather than an 150g with an 3000mAh in.
neuromantic16/09/2019 19:03

Me too! Hang on for the mate 30 reveal on Thursday and make a choice then.

I'm currently using the mate 20 x, so can guarantee I won't get another Huawei as my next phone.
At this price is a steal. Currently using it, one thing to note is that most sellers ship it with global rom flashed which does not allow OTA updates. But flashing back to CN rom should fix that.

Hardware wise this phone is almost unmatchable specially with its one of a kind 120hz amoled display.
£450 quid on a "gaming phone" .. Still gonna play candy crush.

Will work fine on O2 with Band 40 . Voted hot for 6000mah battery

Fair enough. My wife has the p30 and the camera is phenomenal. I'm coming from an S8 plus so anything will be a decent upgrade.

Yeah, tbh, cannot fault this phone, I'm just a frequent changer when something different piques my Interest.

Question is.. Is it worth upgrading to 12gb ram and more storage for almost twice the price if not more?... Cause at this price it's an INSANE value!

If you don't mind me asking whys that ? as im undecided between this one, the Official release with more storage or the upcoming Mate 30 X.
This is definitely something different! I keep coming back to look at it and try and decide if it's for me.

Oh, sorry, just read it back, nothing wrong with the phone or Huawei, I just change my phones that frequent, that I don't buy the same manufacturer twice in a row. That's it.

I'd recommend a flagship Huawei to all and everyone.

Two things for me stick out, the 120hz refresh rate screen, as mentioned above by @playstak and that battery, something I've been craving for years.

If only they had made that display quadHD!

4000mah charge in under an hour is beastly.

Deffo on my "to try out" list.

You are absolutely right. Was sceptical about it as use O2 myself and had no issues so far with coverage. It works almost the same if not better than my previous band 20 phones.

In theory you should be able to squeeze 2 days out of it, and from the reviews you can reduce the hz to 90 or 60 to preserve battery life if needed.

I think I'd probably keep it 90hz anyway, have heard good things about the op7 pro screen refresh rate.

It took only 7 days with the 8-15 days option, also didn't pay customs. I was quite impressed with the service with accurate tracking as well.

Also if you are interested it got discounted 30$ since I got it and there is a 4% code floating around.
I went for it earlier this week from another seller for the same price. I get it tomorrow, I just have to try it and cant resist. Might get by without band 20 but we will see

From the mate 20x battery wise is not a major jump I'd say. Due to 120hz and Huawei's heavy app management. But yeah still this phone is almost unkillable in 1 day with the heaviest of the usages.

Pd: thought mate 20x had good speakers but man... This might be current champ in that regard (discarding razer phone 2 for ugly bazels )

Or doogee's supposedly 12000mah battery that is closer to 8000. The oukitel ones are also complete bollocks

Exactly. Used some nectar points to try and justify it too.

Currently have an s10 plus, p30 pro, mi 9, note 9 and xr ... I need help.
That is an amazing price for what you get.
Also there is the Meizu 16th for £215 ish if 450 is too much for a phone

Which phone you using now bids?
There's an unbox of the many accessories on LTT here. Shame the case doesn't come as standard!

No band 20? Boooooooo. Beast of a phone though. Love that battery capacity

No, this is the ROG Phone 2 Chinese Tencent edition... with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. This is the most common model people have over on xda.
