just offering advice here, I would pay a little more for a better processor like an i3 or if you can afford it an i5 than what's on offer here as you can get more bang for your buck. of course it is just my opinion and want people to be happy with their purchase.

Any example?
There's not many Apollo Lake n3450 tablets around, so I guess if you want to buy something within the UK, a Core M will be the next step up processor wise.

There's occasionally Dell refurbs on here.
Unless you're specifically after a 10" tablet, you're far better off getting a Jumper notebook from Gearbest than something as low spec as this.

For £170, you're getting ALOT more laptop.

Good price but agree with the comments above, also reviews say you cant even upgrade Win 10 without a plug in hardrive. I had previous version and 2 GB memory runs like a pig on stilts.

The price is back up to £230 now.

Which one would be best?
Copied and pasted my experience of this model from a previous thread:

Pros:
Lightweight
Keyboard dock is included and key presses are fine.
Performs well for basic tasks
Plays Pro Evo 2016 / 2017 quite well
Also did well with emulators such as PPSSPP & Dolphin (New Super Mario Bros Wii, etc.)
MicroSD storage
Battery life is good

Cons
The keyboard dock is so hollow that the trackpad is annoying to use
Limited uses - ideal for travelling but not really something to use regularly
Charging seemed to take many hours.

Yep, keep an eye out for deals on here, I picked mine up for £165 or so with a code. The processor is almost twice as fast as the older Atom in the deal here.
I had an older one of these and I'd say it's the worst piece of tech I've ever bought. It pretty much stopped working completely after 12 months of light use. I'd advise anyone to steer clear of these.

With 32gb I'd agree, but as long as you haven't already clogged up the ssd, you should be able to update it with 64gb. Worth putting a micro SD in it from new.

"pay a little more"

What's the cheapest new i3 portable device you know of?

Like I said in my previous post, unless you specifically need a 10" tablet, you'd be better off buying something else.

This is a pretty crap device - read the reviews.

"The excruciatingly slow charging speed and the reduced battery life compared to earlier models mean this device is going to spend a lot of every single day plugged into walls."

"The Asus isn't a fast starter and it doesn't handle everyday tasks well. It's fine for browsing the web, if a little slow, and the sluggishness gives it a slight input lag, meaning you can find yourself waiting for the smallest things."

"...in our testing we found the Asus terminally slow in daily tasks. One time it took six or seven clicks of the File Explorer icon to launch. Thirty seconds later, six windows opened at once. Another time we disovered a new Windows message not encountered before – ‘working on it...’ – to at least let us know something was ticking under the bonnet.
"

A Cherry Trail Atom + 2GB RAM on Windows is always going to bad unless you're doing the most basic and limited of tasks.

He meant 2GB of RAM. Fast micro as is a good idea and recommend though
