takes upto 64gb micro sd card.

Bought one of these in November when they were £109, and I have to say, it performs really well! For the money, I've never been disappointed with it.. Battery life is better than any tablet I've used too - I get a solid 9 hours of constant use out of a charge.

Asus aftersales is very good too ive found.Had a problem with my kids one, booked in a return picked up next day and returned fixed in a week.

Good tablet
Bought the C version a few months back, more memory and keyboard,
Got a IVSO smart case for it on amazon which is a good fit, although they charging postage now :-(

The atom will probably give the arm a good spanking (perhaps less so in 3d gaming). If you require the 3g then go for the slate.

Very good tablet. Not a great screen compared to my Nook HD+, really should have more tha 8gb and has an awful lot of pre loaded stuff. Outstanding sound via headphones but not the loudest. Bought in Feb via very £106 -£30(new account) - £50 trade in cashback.

sorry not to tech but does it do wi-fi connect. wanna get shut of this rubbish Chinese thing

Good spec for the asking price.

Not sure what you mean by Wi-Fi connect but it connects to the internet via Wi-Fi.

Is there an HDMI socket please ?

4m gift wraps are 99p. Lots to choose from

Him indoors bought the tf103cx in January to replace his nexus. We don't think much of it, takes ages to charge doesn't last very long between charges, it got a chiptaken out of the screen very early on although no one knows how, I suspect there was dirt on the keyboard like a crumb or something when it was closed, I don't think the screen glass is very strong. Its also developed a habit of not recognising input on the touchscreen so the keyboard has to be used or the tablet reset.

its a shame as I have two friends with the more expensive windows transformer tablets and was planning to buy one when my galaxy tab2 packs up, but since him indoors got one I've had to scratch that off my list as at least the android one isn't all that good.

The transformer series seems to have a glitch where it seems to use more battery with the keyboard plugged in when in sleep, it seems that asus are aware but no fix yet, but I found mine lasted longer without keyboard plugged in,hence the tablet case,

Yup, perhaps add a 50p SIM card to your order if you're stuck to take it over £100 and get the £10 voucher - argos.co.uk/sta…htm

How does this one compare to the tesco hudl2?

the hudl 2 has 2gb ram, a better screen resolution, but is only 8.3" and is £30 more, not sure how much overlay on android the tesco part is as i have never used one.

Have you|or the tablet, updated the version of Android on it? How is the casting|mirroring if you have used it? Thanks

If you mean wi-di, then no, it doesn't have it, bought it for my mother back in January sales with John Lewis for £99, definitely great for the price, does everything you need from an android tablet

Ordered thanks op

If you don't need the larger screen size I'd go with the hudl2.

1GB RAM.
8 GB internal storage.
Android Kitkat operating system

Cold even at £99.

Seems like a good choice for a semi-budget 10in tablet. A much better buy than something slightly cheaper, but with a worse screen, battery, CPU etc.

nook hd+ is 1200x1920, I got one refurbished for £80 on the bay. shop was selling loads of em. Looked new too, stuck cyano on it. only down side is less than meaty chip, slightly quicker at 1.5ghz but only dual core. and poor battery life

Not really. For a bit more you can get the Lynx 10 - still HD Ready, but it has 2GB of RAM, 32 GB of Flash, and the latest Windows 8.1 with a free upgrade to Windows 10 when it is ready.

I think windows tablets have finally come of age. We can also work on them. I know there's plenty of 'office' apps. But let's be honest they're either crap or we don't want to learn to use them after all these years of MS Office.

It should perform really well considering it has such a low resolution screen. I thought we had moved on from such low resolutions.

I would be looking at the Cube Talk 9x instead of this. It's only £20 more and has a much higher resolution retina screen, better battery life, better build quality, better app compatibility and double the amount of storage.

and its great having full windows. but for a tablet people want android. easier to use. all the apps and games they want compared to the poor selection on the windows store. windows is my OS of choice on desktop and laptop. but for tablet, android is king.

seriously don't understand how anyone can vote an 8gb tablet or phone hot. regardless of being able to add extra memory for storage that 8gb will fill up with apps etc really quickly.....just my opinion.

Good points:
-cheap and wouldn't be the end of the world if kids broke it
-screen size for this price
-Works well enough and has not crashed once even though used daily
- casts very well, good connection

Bad points:
-creaky case, back doesn't seem the most solid
-battery life is half that of my iPad Air
-has started to lag a bit in past month

Mine does this occasionally. The quickest fix is just to press the power button and then press it again, thus turning the screen off and on. Takes 2 seconds and works fine.
It's a shame this tablet has this problem, because other than that an the poor battery life, it's a really good tablet.

Not sure that's entirely accurate, and probably more how you feel?
Android easier to use? Nope. The Windows store also isn't that bad. My iPad certainly has a wider selection, but you can game happily these days on Win tabs. Troll Wars, Star Wars Commander, Total Conquest, Monster Hunter 5, AoE Castle Siege, Cloud Raider to name but a few. Even plug a 360 controller into it
Lollipop has helped a lot cleaning up Android, but still waiting for it on my Galaxy S4, grrrr O2.
They are all good, and all have their pros and cons. Not sure you can declare Android as king though, I personally find it a bit **** compared iPad and Windows tablets. Each to their own I suppose

if anyone does not want there keyboard happy to take it off there hands.
bought just the tab for 120 (16gb). cannot find the kb seperatly.
