Good price but lots of reports about poor battery life on these models

With an i5, a UHD display and Windows track record for being sh*te at power/battery management, I'm not really surprised.

It's the reason I've not really gone for a Windows based tablet/laptop yet.
This is good. I ordered one from John Lewis which arrived today and had a 512GB disk. Bonus!

What do you mean by 512GB disk? You mean instead of the 256GB SSD, it had a 512GB SSD?

Yes, exactly.
My one arrived with 512GB SSD from John Lewis. It said on the box before I unpacked it and I was a little suspicious but it turned out to be correct.

That's so cool. You couldn't have got it for a better price.

I know there's a difference in the models that are being sold by various retailers. I'm going to also see if I get the 512 from JL, but just curious to find out, what's the model number on the box? Is it T303UA-GN040T?

Hi - it was a GN060T that arrived. How that helps!
That should say 'hope that helps' above!

I'm really pleased. A bios update sorted the noisy fan which now only comes on when it's doing something hefty like Photoshop or editing in Lightroom. Keyboard seems good and the pen is excellent - more responsive than the surface pro 4 I have at work.

Can you help me on updating bios?
