No wonder that Medion guy bought one X)Bear in mind with Amazon Warehouse deals there is NO warranty with the device as they are 2nd hand / used.

Indeed - there are too many refurbs of this type.

Plus I find the specs distinctly unexciting even if it does work. It is not particularly fast, it does not have 4GB of RAM, no FullHD display... the only interesting point is the touchpad on the keyboard and the laptop like docking.

Have been considering one of these or the acer aspire switch.

The price and the fact I don't really need one stopped me buying.

Couldn't resist at this price though

Do you have a link please?

I'm waiting for a decent core-m 2 in 1 deal to appear, then I can sell my surface pro and linx 8. I used to have a t100 but sold it to get my pro, which was actually cheaper thanks to a student deal
This aint a bad tablet really, was over £300 on release which is what attracted the bad reviews, and the keyboard is rubbish and buggy, but the hardware isn't too bad.

Agreed. It's the slower, older generation Bay Trail Atom as well. Out of the box, the device only with comes with about 12gb of usable storage as well. Throw in that 2gb ram, tiny screen, terrible cramped keyboard, various issues and faults this device and no warranty and this deal is ICE COLD for me....

A lot of the bad reviews are recent and I believe as a previous poster mentioned, contrary to the OP post, there is no 12 month warranty with it.

Bad tablet, save your cash and spend a bit more on a better one.

it is brill. battery life is incredible. fast enough to play fm2015. i use steam stream at home too. can output netflix 1080p via hdmi. but the battery life was reason i got it. can be charged by standard usb charger including a portable battery pack!

i had an m11x but battery life is small and device isbjeavy5

no good for kids unless you can find a decent tempered glass screen protector for it, the digitizer breaks like an eggshell

This deal's expired now anyway.

Fantastic offer tbh. Great for cheap laptop, touch screen, and most of all the ability to use Microsoft office with it (which it comes with) or the new version does.

Thanks for that. I bought a car head unit a few years ago and they weren't interested when I reported a fault with it after the 30 days were up. Things must have changed. I have been keeping away from warehouse deals on electrical since then

So far with every warehouse deal I bought, I spoke to a rep first via live chat, just to get a chat transcript of them guaranteeing my warranty, that way, they can't really turn me away when something does go wrong, it's a bit of hassle, but worth it

You can get Microsoft office on iPads and android tablets for free.

Seriously stay away from the latest asus tablets, from multiple experiences asus has been releasing severely faulty and non fixable tablets (Google) and it takes them at least 4 months to refund you and only after i threatened legal action and sent letters to their had office. Never in my long life have i ever experienced such bad service and trying to be calm and understanding and patient jsut makes them walk all over you.

Overall fast and nice except graphics.

Tbh, I fail to understand the negative comments. The reviews on amazon are very positive including from someone who does pc repairs ....and this is when the price was over £300, let alone £120!!!! See the following link

Searcher2, Amazon warehouse deals are basically just returns. Amazon have the same T&C for new and warehouse products. You may had had one bad experience, but trust me you have been missing a lot of good deals by keeping.away. I have found amazon to be the best online retailers in terms of customer services (and generally have very competitive prices). They are always willing to sort issues without any problem. They even give you goodwill vouchers if things go wrong, but sometimes you have to insist.

How do you see that as a positive feedback profile? There are lots of reviews with 1 star - and they all have the common theme that the device does not work, and you have a lot of hassle with repairs that do not work either, and at the end you don't even get your money back. This is a classic case of a genuinely bad device.

Well the average score is 3.7 out of 5, which is very positive indeed unless you know of any product that gets 5/5 on 239 customers review..even then!!! Plus the IT engineer Robert R. Foss is very impressed with it. All this when the price was £300 or over, as I said! But each to their own, I suppose.

As to getting your money back, I've never had a problem with Amazon sorting issues, again as I said in my earlier post.

With that number of negative reviews (and also the negative comments from owners on YouTube, tech forums etc), it's pretty clear that it's a shonky product with a higher than normal number of reliability issues associated with it.

As for the comments from "Robert Foss, IT Engineer", they're about as meaningful as David Cameron saying that he's in politics for the good of the common people X)

THX OP.
received today. looks brand new, no damage to box or device.
had to set up windows on start( good sign) selected not to update automatically and did not connected to the wi fi as well.
and boot to system. once in the system, select updates to let you know but choose to download and then connect to wi-fi.
so now is updating after restart.
Bios seems current u can check by run msinfo32.
i have to say I have the linx 10 as well witch i am happy with bonus there is that it has separate charing.
this one is lovely, nice build, resolution is sufficient, keyboard is fine. for the £ spend , bargain.
it will go to my father to replace ancient laptop just will get hdmi cable for monitor.

Got mine today as well - windows booted from fresh and office 365 code worked. Updating now. Great device as new and in original packaging. So now to sell my Linx 8 - I think - or maybe not - you can never have too many devices !

Really hoping this comes back in stock looks a great deal
