Don't forget - if you're not a current o2 customer, you can get o2 priority easy if you order a free PAYG sim and have an unlocked handset. Insert the sim, activate it for free, and download the app over wifi so you don't have to top up.

o2.co.uk/fre…im/

o2 priority for everyone!

can you activate the sim without topping up now?

Yes no neeed to top up, just put the free sim in an unlocked phone (or at least one that works on o2 and download the app).
It then works for me regardless of network sim i then put in to show offers and generate the codes.

A great little device and I'd probably recommend this over the Surface currently going for a similar price, simply because it's got Windows 8.1 and a proper keyboard. To borrow a phrase from Microsoft's own advert, it can replace your laptop because unlike the Surface, it does actually have the keyboard included.

If I'm honest though, since I got the LG G Pad in the Tesco deal at Easter, My T100 barely gets used...

Heat added btw thanks

Based on reviews and videos the T100 isn't that good compared to others.

is it possible to upgrade the ram, 2gb seems very low for windows

The T100 @ £225 is amazing value as it comes with a keyboard dock (with touchpad & mouse buttons) and Microsoft Office 2013.
Runs like a dream with full Windows 8.1 updates.
Miracast and HDMI work perfectly too.
Initially we purchased the Toshiba Encore, but after buying a custom keyboard case, mouse and cables allowing it to be charged while using the single USB, it actually ended up costing more than this T100.

Great price for a great device.

Oh, it charges via micro USB, so you don't have to carry a power block any more and a battery life of 10 hours.

Good price

If this comes with the keyboard then for £225 it`s a great deal. Thanks for posting

It sure does.

Had one since November and I love it. At this price (even without the O2 discount) it is a great deal. Heat added.

I've also got one purchased abroad last Christmas (around 300 squid for the 64GB version).

It does everything I need it to do for my portable requirements. While I think there are now more competing products this is super value for money.

It's not perfect but I can live with the niggles. (Only 1 USB port and the keyboard touchpad hard buttons clicking does my head in. I also had issued getting a 64GB micro SD to work with it).

This has already been posted here

Give credit to the original poster (Jazzy1234) - note its exactly the same deal but the o2 discount (which is not available to everyone without messing about) is not listed as the deal price, its noted as an optional discount on the first page of the thread.

Love the clicking (feels like a proper mouse).
64gb SDXC worked perfectly (Samsung)

Which others ? I've got one and I rate it highly, it's a ultrabook sized convertible tablet with a decent quad core processor (not much slower than an i3) running full Windows 8.1 for less than the cost of an iPad Mini. The keyboard is included, as is MS Office 2013, a micro USB port on the tablet part and a full size USB 3.0 port on the keyboard. There's also a micro HDMI port which is very useful for connecting to an external screen (it has no problem displaying full HD videos to the second screen) and decent battery life. It also recharges via the micro usb port which means that you can use a usb powerbank if you're away from the mains for a while.

The only thing I can fault is the micro-sd card slot which really should have a cover.

is this as good as a laptop ? its only for ebay n things but do need to create documents as well

I agree with phishwak, I bought the 32gb version with 500gb base from John Lewis, have replaced my desktop with it.

it is replcing my desktop as older children have moved out so was going to get myself a laptop and the younger son a notebook would this be ok as the main laptop ....please dont reel offf specifications with regards ram n gb n cores n that ...coz i am none the wiser ..no offence its a blonde thing lol

No worries - hope it helped.

HI
Does any body know what happens if you refund part of an order that you used o2 priority voucher on? For example if on the £20 off £200 spend at PC World and Currys, say your order was built up with three items but you wanted to return one.

How would the refund work? Would you lose the discount through refunding less for the item going back (in affect a claw back on the discount)?

Price has dropped to £229.99 on the web, so presumably with the O2 code on top it's now even cheaper.

Good spot. Unfortunately - O2 code only works in store. Order for collect in store and they may be able to also take the O2 code that way making it £209.

Or - Students - buy it online and go through the Unidays link to get 5% extra off (£229 minus £11.45 making it £217.55.)

Ridiculously cheap either way - and well worth getting.
it's overtaken my laptop in terms of hours use a day....not quite took over the ipad mini's place just for ease of picking up and instantly using.

went currys st helens for this sunday 07/08/2014 reserved from day before was given all the sale hype after i waited full half hour at an empty sales desk for someone to serve me.
eventualy they did then went on to try sell me more crap macafee i wont have that for free never mind 20 quid i told them i just wanted the sale nothing else as i had apointments an was running late, they just dont no when to stop, alas they got me on the deal of mcafee for 20 quid the laptop being £229 .99 an mcfee 20 quid a grand total of £249.99. and my prioritie moments that in thier reckoning came to yes you guessed it £249.99. to which i left the store totally disgusted with curry`s

I have one of these, great little computer. When I plug it into a screen and use a wireless keyboard and mouse you wouldn't know you weren't playing on a full desktop as it is more than powerful enough to power 1080 screens.

It would likely suit your needs as described above...but if you dont need for it to be a laptop/ tablet then just get a laptop....get mmore power for your money. I have a decent laptop but am considering one of these as I want a Windows tablet and the detachable keyboard is a bonus.

Annoyingly, today this has gone up to £289.99 (See here).

Last night it was still £249 (I was browsing as I was considering getting it). Grrrrr!

Expired. 289.99 now.

ps. Can be had from Amazon at this price, if you're willing to wait for stock. It's also the latest model with the 1.8 Bay Trail Atom.

Underneath "other sellers" - £229 from Amazon themselves.

Thst link now shows the 1.8Ghz version at £295 + £6.43 shipping. This device seems to have gone up in price everywhere in the past 3 or 4 days, both the 1.8Ghz and 1.33Ghz versions.

The only place that I can see it is still available at £249 (new) with free delivery is the Curry's/PC World outlet store on eBay.
