Thanks mate, shamelessly ripped from them, will amend.

Also when you buy this you should qualify for a free GPS extension kit that helps with any GPS issues. See asus support website to claim

Nope, that was just for the Transformer Prime and I think the claim period has ended.

Is JB 4.1 officially available for this? My device hasn't notified me of any available update and I am running a stock ROM.

Good point about Jelly Bean, ICS is available officially from Asus here but no mention of Jelly Bean (yet) perhaps Scan are incorrect unless they know its going OTA shortly.

Put price in heading. Nice deal.

WOW, massive price drop. Now £242.52 plus postage,

If I didn't already own one, I would buy it.

The extra battery, USB slots and full size SD slot in the keyboard is a really useful bonus. When I was on holiday, I could easily transfer photos from my camera's SD card to a USB stick as a backup (also I could upload them direct from the SD card to Box).

Another price drop, incredible, cant believe it.

Heat added (I'm surprised it's still only at around 70C).
Absolutely great deal for this tablet+dock. Have been thinking of getting one for a while but prices were closer to £350. Ordered mine. Looking forward to the delivery.

I have just received mine, minutes ago, its on charge now, looks a good piece of kit for the money. I contact Scan and got partial refund for the price I paid to what its on offer at now. So good service from them on that behalf, saves sending it back and re-ordering.

Saw these last night at the higher price, just saw this now so went to order but out of stock. Only available to pre-order, how does that work with this company?
Thanks

Now down to £225.72, but not in stock. Have put myself down for a pre-order.

Priced to clear before Microsoft's surface and Windows 8 tablets launch?

Not in Stock Is it a reliable enough company to pay for a Pre-Order?

I've done a pre-order after speaking to customer services yesterday and reading reviews on google. The bloke I spoke to seemed confident they will get more in soon as their suppliers are both showing good stock levels. He confirmed you can cancel your order for a full refund at any time.

Call for price now. Hope they get more for others, excellent bit of kit even if it is a little dated.

so whats the advice on this deal guys?

Has anyone who pre-orders have any further comments etc?

:-)

I keep watching and waiting for them to come back in or at least make pre-order re-available, I mean I got my first one no problems what so ever, that pleased I want another, I have not called them lately for an update but like others have echoed Scan are often very good, so just keep checking.

Go for the tf201 instead, far better than the tf101, I have the tf101 and decided to buy the tf201 for my sis and indeed the tf201 is more than worth the price difference and is even better overall than the tf300, check this out review -

...everything there is 100% spot on as i have the tf101 and the tf201 to compare.

£299.98 with vat

For those interested, I got this in Asda, Cardiff for £150 last night reduced from £297, I was lucky that I saw a small label with the price as it was not exactly highlighted. I asked the assistant to check it as she said it was not this model but it was so snapped it up. I have not idea if this was store specific or a move to get rid of stocks but the website is still saying £297.
The assistant had no idea about the change in price. It was brand new and sealed, a bargain for the price!

anyone know where to get tf700 for under 400 with dock?

Thanks, ended up getting the TF300 for 220 (no dock)

Anyone know of a good place to get the dock on tis own?

Wish I'd seen this - played with my mate's TF101 recently and was very impressed. Think I'll get it over a netbook for my next purchase.

Just a quick note/advice on the docks,

- be sure the dock you get for your tf700 is the dock for it, as the dock/keyboard for my tf101 and that of the tf201 is significantly different because of the difference in thickness of my tf101 over my sis's tf201 (the tf201 is thinnner), and also, most important the connectors are different between the connector for the dock on my tf101 and that of the tf201 plus my dock/keyboard is slightly wider than the dock for the tf201, so if the tf700 is as thin as the tf201 of even thinner then not all dock/keyboard will work and you will only find that out when the dock/keyboard is delivered

Just advise to keep checking, £150 at ASDA is a super deal if still available. As for the TF201, I would agree its better, but it can't really be compared to this when it was available for £230 unless it was available for £260. HMV had some store deals on the TF201 last week I think.

Has anyone who placed a Pre-order had any information as to when their order will be fulfilled?
