Thanks for the comments. Had a look at the linx on ebuyer, looks good.

Think this has slightly better screen, longer battery life and is lighter/thinner. Also, although it doesn't say on their website, I contacted Microsoft to see if the Stylus pen comes with it and she said their customers said it did.

Free delivery and free returns with Microsoft too.

Hi Sam, thanks for the advice.

Was looking at the Linx 12v64, when you said it's faster, is it the 'quad core' that makes it so?

I see both devices have the Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor.

The linx boasts up to 1.84 GHz while this claims up to 1.92 GHz 'with Burst Technology'.

I'm not very computer literate so please forgive my ignorance, but is there something else I should be looking at?

Thanks again!
Dont buy this... i bought this mid last year and its the worst expense ever. Its so slow that id rather not use it and wait until desktop is free to use. I have used many laptops and tablets in the past and never came across such a bad one. Its so slow that it makes me angry just thinking about it. And dont even try to do 2 things at the same time with this laptop (not even navigating between tabs), it will freeze on you and youll lose all your work. Wifi connectivity very poor too and doesnt work well in hotels.

Just to confirm, mine came with the stylus pen too. If youre looking for a tablet then this might work (but there are better ones out there). But if youre planning to use it as a mini laptop - either as main laptop device or device for travel - then dont buy this. Im stuck with mine and its gathering dust somewhere as too frustrating to use.

If you decide to buy this, check with John Lewis too. They used to have this product (not sure if they still do) and price match. JL gives additional warranty over manufacturers one. Although in my case warranty means nothing when the product is useless.
