Its £299 at Currys, £349 at Tesco, £359 at John Lewis and £399 at Argos.

credit goes to Shinymossy who spotted the cheaper price for the Silver version! That also allowed me to get £100 refunded from Currys so huge thanks

Available in silver only. I bought one as a gift at Christmas and it comes with the very useful Stylus. Some reviews complained of it being slow but it seems quite snappy for browsing / office etc.

Possible John Lewis price match but I haven't tried that. 1% Quidco as well tosweeten the deal

What will you be using your new computer for? Maybe I can help you pick something
Atom CPU is low.
1280 x 800 screen resolution is lower than my phone's screen.

Sorry, but got to be cold.
Bought an earlier equivalent model of this last year (Asus Transformer T100Chi), and it was the most fragile and unreliable device I’ve ever owned. When it eventually terminally broke 2 days outside the warranty period, Asus refused to look at it unless I paid them more or less what the thing had cost me to buy. Now in landfill (although I kept the Bluetooth keyboard dock). The whole experience (how poor the device was, and how shoddy Asus’ customer services were) put me off ever buying another Asus product. Unless they improved the design a lot, I'd avoid this.

Another person hating on Asus well that is a surprise. I've had a couple of dealings with them and it appears they loathe customers, and will do everything in their power to ignore their customer base and tell them to get lost when there's a problem. I sent a broken Transformer which was a month old back to them and they replaced it with a refurbished battered machine and I had to pay to ship it to them too. Hate the company they deserve to go bust the way they treat their customers.

The CPU is more limiting than the 4GB of RAM here.
I own a few, and quite like Asus goods, but I've never had any reason to deal with customer services.
But these atom powered windows machines, from any manufacturer, are not up to the job.
My Thinkpad turned out to be one of the most frustrating devices. Tablet are Android/Linux/Apple machines, not for Windows.
Decent, not available for deliver and seems to be low stock level on the area's I looked for

On a 10" screen the resolution is fine...atom isn't fast but this is small form factor and if you want performance then this isn't the machine for you.

I’ve been using one and the resolution isn’t an issue on this size of laptop, it actutally looks quite good. There are better laptop screens and processors available, but I think this is a good price for what’s on offer, given that the next cheapest I can find is £100 more expensive. A Surface Pro would have a better processor and screen, but it wouldn’t be £199

Sorry this is my first time using it or making a post - how do I do that? Or I can remove it and let him/her post it. Apologies if I’ve done the wrong thing

All good. I'd heated this as it seems a good deal . Welcome to the site!

And yes...price seems to have gone up to £299 now, although was definitely £199 when I checked earlier.

Yes in the little pop up window its says 199.99 but add to the basket and its 299.99 shame i might have got one at that price .
Having paid 129 for a T100 Chi with FHD IPS screen, and 170 for a Jumper 3 Pro, I can only consider this as a total waste of money. Terrible display, and really no redeeming features.

BTW my T100 Chi was pretty well faultless, it would occasionally lose connection to keyboard, but for the price I couldn't complain.

I suppose it depends what you’re looking for. The Jumper 3 Pro is twice the weight, nearly half the battery life, larger footprint, no stylus, can’t be used as a tablet, doesn’t have touchscreen as far as I can see. So there may be a few redeeming features for some users.
