i7 with 256gb SSD and 1TB HDD.
It was £870 I think, also it seems odd that both models on this page are the same price but the model with the higher spec has a lower original price, or am I missing something? Anyway seems good for a laptop with 98% sRGB 120hz IPS display and a 256gb SSD for £800.

Can't beat a well thought out, fact driven comment. The balance of knowledge, experience and a touch of emotion has allowed me to make the decision not to buy it.

Hot for the display and 8750
Anyone know how easy it is to upgrade RAM? All I can find on youtube is how to upgrade HDD and battery.

Does this one have the same quality screen? I don't need gaming performance, so it would be a nice saving if the screen's comparable.

I don't think so.

Yeah, I've just been reading up on it. The cheaper one has a decent quality Sharp IPS panel but not as good as the one in this one.

That one has lower colour gamut. This one is better
The i5 15" version of this also has the lower colour gamut however the i5 17" model has the better display, I think. I don't think any of the AMD models either 15 or 17" have the 98% display.

Fair enough but could you point us in the direction of this spec cheaper?

£800 for mediocre Asus laptop with 1050ti, go ahead I dont care if it's not cheaper anywhere else doesn't make it a good deal
Would this be good enough for running Lightroom and editing RAW files and for editing 720p video? My current PC is so old it struggles with editing RAW files from my D5300, or very large files from scanned film.

done with the fancy words?

if it's that good why does it barely have any heat? surely if everyone saw this as a good deal it would at least do better than 43 degrees

It's not this deal it's your response to people that are looking to buy a laptop but just getting sarcastic remarks from you rather than being sent in the right direction.
I can't find a powerfull laptop with both an SSD and HDD with this level of screen for cheaper.
OK this may have been a mistake, I ordered the 256gb model, it only has an i5 and the lower quality screen, I am sending it back.
