EDIT: In stock on Amazon, prime!
EDIT (again): Seems like amazon has bumped the price up to £1390 now!

Love the idea of these laptops, full hd touch panel and secondary screen just above the keyboard. Would like to try one, specs seem decent, obviously could probably get a similar laptop without the 2nd screen for probably around £750ish? So paying a lot extra for that USP

What do you all reckon?

Asus have a decent reputation, no? I have an older Asus i7 s400ca and it's still going strong after 5 years. Still love it but it's due an upgrade

They're one of the biggest PC vendors in the world. I have a lot of Asus hardware and it's all been fine.

North Korean brand, not very well known

How can you say Asus isn't well known?! Titans of building motherboards and laptops (especially gaming laptops)

So this is for a very narrow audience - say a creative who finds it handy to have the timeline on the bottom screen.

Also beware it is heavy - it is more of a portable workstation than a laptop...

Yeah I bet the use cases are fairly limited for who would get the best use out of the second screen but might come in more handy than you would think. Defo more portable workstation

Dell one of the worst customer service over priced ugly looking machines!
Wow that's an interesting design
Had an ASUS Zenbook for a couple years and it's lovely. I have no doubt that this is a beast and every time I see it I weep a little, wishing I was minted. Never mind!

Not surprised bunch of ignorants who think world is only iphone and mac.

Asus is Mercedes Benz in motherboards for decades. Routers and more.
I never signed to this thing but this is appealing.

Who are you people?

Greeks don't exist.
One thing i will say about this is that the thermals aren't bad at all due to the thicker chassis and the slightly modified heatsink compared to the 9th gen model.

And being a U series chip, the lower power usage will help cooling

They'd get really confused with gigabyte and MSI
This is the same price on the Currys/PCWorld website, has been for a few months now, still a nice bit of tech though.

Haha that is fantastic.

Those who run gingerbread OS, reminds me when was VHS and TV. You could meet them and they used to say if you have Panasonic TV you have to have Panasonic VHS player. Otherwise no video or sound. The were sure even when ask did you test it. For Example JVC VHS player with Sony TV. No go 100% sure.

Or some of them believed sound is Dolby on old TV CRT because on credits when movie was finished was Dolby sign.
Despite there was no technology to send even stereo back then or TV wasn't even ready to decode it.
Shame it doesn't come with a 2080ti.
