Whoops missed it. That deal did expire so it might be useful for someone to know it's in stock again.
lowest i7 cpu and poor graphics card. Price is fair though.
If only it had FHD
Current gen mobile i7 that's less powerful than last gen i5's... They'll stick the i7 badge on anything just so the price can be bumped up.
These ULV CPU's really need a different name, they aren't in the same class as the regular M badged mobile CPU's.

This laptop really is nothing special for the price.

Pretty reasonable for the price, not gonna get roasting though.
If it only had backlit keyboard......
You can get a Dell Inspiron 7000 series with a better screen (inc touch screen), twice the ram, 1TB HDD (hybrid drive) for £50 more than this which I would say is a better deal through the Dell outlet store. I know as I bought one just before Christmas and have been playing Elite Dangerous on it ever since!
Gah i detest this badge engineering by intel. This CPU is an I5 at best. Only Quad cores should be I7's

Being a dual core is bad enough, but this is a ULV CPU, making it even weaker. Definitely shouldn't have the i7 badge stuck on it.

got a link please, sounds good
Some of these comments make me laugh, I seriously doubt someone who is buying a low end laptop cares about the number of cores, hyper threading etc for their internet browsing and word processing. Also it appears there is a common belief that everyone bys a laptop to play games on.
The laptop is aimed at a certain market who are unlikely to care or notice.

The content changes daily. I had to wait about 2 weeks checking a few times a day (Seemed to update their stock late morning when I was checking) before one that ticked all the boxes came up. The are refurb but mine looks and feels brand new and you get the normal full 1yr RTB warranty with them so no real difference to buying a brand new one for quite a lot less:

I've been looking at one of these and wondering the same thing! Anyone got any thoughts? Am looking to buy a laptop for regular surfing and lightweight gaming (Civ 5), this should cover it right?
