Pretty good spec for that price I believe. Available on Prime too.
Cheaper i5 option available.

Only downside I think is the battery life but good if not needed for mobility

This was £100 cheaper last month according to the three camels

Camel reckons this was £699 10 days ago... I've been looking for a laptop that long, I think it would have stuck out at that price. No stock previously maybe?

Yeah I also checked 3 camels and was surprised actually as I've been searching for a laptop for the last 2 weeks

You're paying a massive premium for the large SSD and a bit of extra RAM, and the GPU is a very low tier DDR3 variant. If you drop the high capacity SSD requirement and instead opt for a smaller SSD paired with a conventional HDD for mass storage, you can get a big boost to other specs across the board, for example this HP has a fully fledged quad core CPU and a significantly more powerful GPU.

Yeah same, been looking for the last 2 weeks and hadn't seen it. Might go ahead and buy unless the community put me off

They refunded on an 18 month old nexus 5x as credit... Although even if it wasn't credit, I'd stick with them for how hassle free the whole process was. Consistently great customer service from Amazon for me.

Yes it was £699 on amazon 2 weeks go, I brought it... brilliant laptop! Loads very quickly, good graphics and processor!

Looks like it was £699.99 over bank holiday recently, that was a VERY good price, this is still a good price as well though!

Asus have just released their updated version of vivobook, zenbook etc worth checking out. I think they come out in June or July I believe. May help with lowering the prices of previous gen models
