my opinions of GOOD: amazing screen, good storage, great chassis
my opinions of BAD: RAM oh jeez why are they still doing this, lots of people would be fine with 8gb, but if you're buying a single device to settle all your computing needs, perhaps investigate whether you need more

It’s time to show your vibrant new vision to the world! Vivobook Pro 14 OLED lets you express your true colors, with its vivid and stunning 14-inch NanoEdge 2.8K OLED1 display and awe-inspiring Harman Kardon-certified audio. Vivobook Pro 14 OLED immerses you in whatever you’re doing, whether it’s work or play. Powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel® H Series CPU and a dual-fan cooling system, and featuring ultrafast WiFi 6, the ultra-stylish Vivobook Pro 14 OLED is the key to expressing your true potential.

Expand your vision beyond the borders and immerse yourself in Vivobook Pro 14 OLED’s amazing 16:10 aspect-ratio display. This 2.8K OLED1 NanoEdge display is super-bright — up to 600 nits — and has an 84% screen-to-body ratio, along with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut for ultra-vivid colors. It’s also PANTONE® Validated for professional-grade color accuracy and TÜV Rheinland-certified for low blue-light emissions. Let Vivobook Pro 14 OLED guide your creative journey, with a fresh new visual experience.

ASUS OLED laptops deliver exceptionally detailed and realistic visuals, with a cinema-grade 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. This means that the colors reproduced on the display are richer and more vivid: it’s ideal for color-intensive projects, but also enhances any kind of content.

Blue light is known to cause visual discomfort and disrupt sleep quality. However, due to the nature of the special organic lighting materials in an OLED display, ASUS OLED laptops emit 70% less harmful blue light2, and they’re also certified by TÜV Rheinland and SGS. More importantly, unlike traditional blue-light filters, shifting the spectrum means there’s no need to compromise color accuracy.

Since children’s eyes are not fully developed, with a more transparent lens and cornea, harmful blue light can penetrate the eye more easily, potentially causing premature aging of the retina.

ASUS OLED laptops reproduce blacks perfectly. An OLED pixel consists of three sub-pixels, each with its own self-generated illumination: a 2.8K (2880 x 1800) display has 5,184,000 pixels, which means it has 15,552,000 self-illuminated sub-pixels, compared to just a few dozen LED backlights in a Full HD LCD display. When displaying black on an OLED display, the pixel is simply turned off to produce the darkest possible black. This enables extremely crisp and clear images even in the darkest scenes. You’ll be surprised to see how many new details you’ll spot in your favorite movies!

ASUS OLED displays have a 0.2 ms response time — the fastest of any laptop, and 50x faster4 than the average laptop LCD display. In fact, most of LCD laptop displays have a response time between 10 and 25 ms. This ensures smoother fast-paced action scenes, low-latency gameplay, and subtle details like blur-free text scrolling.

Forget ordinary, embrace Vivobook. The unique 3D ASUS logo, with its anodized chevron pattern and tactile texture, adds excitement even before you open the lid. Explore further, and see how the expressive design continues inside, where a warning-striped Enter key takes center stage.

Vivobook Pro 14 OLED keeps you productive and entertained, even on the go. With an overall weight of just 1.4 kg5, Vivobook Pro 14 OLED simply slips into your backpack so it goes where you go, so get out there and show the world who you are.

Heat is the enemy of performance. Vivobook Pro 14 OLED is always cool, thanks to its highly efficient dual-fan cooling system. This advanced cooling design ensures that your laptop stays cool to give you maximum performance, anytime and anywhere. ASUS IceCool Plus technology maximizes performance in even the thin and light form factor, with 3 fan profiles to choose from in MyASUS based on personal need.

Treat your ears to the unbelievably good Harman Kardon-certified sound system in Vivobook Pro 14 OLED. With Vivobook Pro 14 OLED, your movies and games are brought to life with exquisitely immersive sound.

With its integrated webcam shield and built-in fingerprint sensor, Vivobook Pro 14 OLED takes good care of your privacy and security.

Vivobook Pro 14 OLED keeps you fully connected, with comprehensive I/O ports including an any-way-up Thunderbolt™ 4 USB-C port, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and USB 2.0 ports, as well as an HDMI port and a microSD card reader — so you can easily connect your latest peripherals, displays, or projectors with zero hassle. Additionally, Thunderbolt™ 4 USB-C® Easy Charge support means that your Vivobook Pro 14 OLED can be used with a wide range of standard 5-20 V USB-C chargers. You can enjoy hassle-free, ultrafast charging with any PD (Power Delivery) certified charger, including up to the ASUS 120-watt fast-charge adapter.

Interacting with Vivobook Pro 14 OLED is now easier than ever. We’ve optimized the touchpad and enlarged it by 21%8, giving you a smoother and more responsive fingertip control. And the new ASUS NumberPad9 makes things a lot easier when it’s time to crunch numbers: simply tap the touchpad icon to turn the touchpad into an LED-illuminated numeric keypad.

Add 2.8k OLED screen to the description. That's its major selling point, otherwise an average laptop

Sadly, even the service manual seems to confirm that yes, the RAM on this is soldered. So, so close to being great...

Getting fully metal laptop with sick OLED display and TB4 port for that price is crazy! Plus there is room for RAM upgrade.
Edit: not sure anymore about RAM.

Agreed it's got some pretty appealing features for the price, but do you have a source for RAM upgradability?
Slight variations of similar model numbers can be a nightmare to navigate, but usually the chassis & mobo are fairly standard off production line - video I linked above seems to show 8GB soldered RAM with no DIMM slot on what deems to be exactly (or very close to) this model

Found interesting comment under the video. Guy makes good point, that if there is dedicated GPU, like in other model with GTX1650, you'll need less than 16 gigs RAM for gaming, since part of it won't be taken by iGPU.
Plus interesting point about display being better than the one with touch layer on.

"Just chipping in here. I just returned the Zenbook 14X OLED because its display looks terrible with the way they added the touch layer on top of the screen. I ordered this instead, because it has exactly the same screen except without the touch layer, so it looks much better than on the Zenbook. The Zenbook I returned also had 8 GB of memory, and for me it was plenty. The replacement Vivobook actually has 16 GB of memory, but I would have bought it even if it only had 8, also considering that if you use the discrete Nvidia GPU, you won't be eating memory for the Iris Xe graphics. But of course, how much memory you need depends on the work you're doing. For me, a programmer that likes to game, and do a bit of Photoshop, 8 GB is enough, though 16 GB is nice. The CPU here — the Intel 11300H — is slightly faster than in the Zenbook (1135G7), and the Zenbook was super fast. Like, really fast. And quiet. I mean, the Zenbook without a dedicated GPU was even a great casual gaming laptop (The Sims 4 in native 2880x1800 ran fine at 90 FPS with not the craziest, but very nice graphics settings), so having this variant which has twice the GPU performance while remaining quiet is pretty awesome. I've been through four other laptops — Razer Blade 15 OLED, Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 13 & 15, and the Zenbook 14X OLED — and the Vivobook Pro 14 K3400PH is the one for me. Perfect screen, good touchpad and keyboard, very fast but low-power CPU, medium fast but low-power GPU, good port selection, headphone jack, a little chunky but nicely built and good-looking without bells and whistles, I feel like it's gonna be the laptop that has me not regret buing it. I'll just love the speed and that ******* screen. It's BEAUTIFUL. The speakers are pretty crap, though, but that's the only thing."

I have this laptop with the GTX 1650 The screen is fantastic and has a pixel shift feature to prevent burn in, The ram is soldered but had no problem playing a bit of elden ring at 1080p low settings around 55-60fps. Decent build quality for the price, got mine from AO on ebay for £590 with a code around a month ago. The only downside for me is speaker quality.

I'd have thought Harmon speaker would be pretty good.

My previous laptop was Beats audio, while I dislike Beats branding the quality was great.

Have you turned on the setting in the DTS app to enable DTS audio.

It definately makes it louder and sounds a bit better than originally anyway

Worth checking this kind of thing via Crucial's memory checker before buying, as soldered RAM with no slots for upgrading is annoyingly common now
