I have been watching this laptop for the past 3 months. This is by far the best price. It was launched at over £1300. It is still a bit pricy for comparable laptops, but I think it's worth it for the 4k OLED alone for this kind of 'thin & light' productivity laptop.

Would this be suitable for connecting up to an Oculus Quest 2?

I personally would not. I have the OQ2 and initially linked it with an RX580 and I was quite disapointed with the results. Now the RTX3050 Mobile chip is better than the RX580 but if you look at benchmarks not enough better to make it the option I would ever choose. I upgraded my PC to a RTX 3060 TI and now it is awesome

At this price I'd expect at least a 3060 or dual screen

No. Go for laptop with 3070 8GB ram. Will be far better. If anything fo for the lenovo legion with 5800h and 3070.

There should be deals out there. This laptop is more for productivity with its 4k screen and 4GB GPU.

I agree, although I think this is a nice all-rounder a decent price. If it's mostly gaming then I'd want a 3060 minimum.

There is this without the Oled 4K screen (tbh I would be worried about screen burn anyway) pretty close spec and price with the 3060 laptopsdirect.co.uk/ace…asp
TBH I question the need for 4K on a screen this size anyway (edited)

Also had my eye on this. Wish it was the silver one though. Can see the black one is a fingerprint magnet which would drive me nuts.
