Far too much for this spec, the 5800H version was as low as £509 recently and is currently £599. The 5900HX is not worth £150 more.

Are graphic cards not a concern to people at price points like this? Especially since the laptop is geared towards creatives.

Can be a concern, if somebody wants to use this for creatives. But if somebody is looking for a powerful work laptop and don't require much graphic input. This is perfect at this price.

Liking the specs not so much the reviews.

Apart from the potential touchpad rattle, it's pretty decent.

How does this compare to Huawei matebook 14? Specs similar but that is £599.

So this doesn’t seem as good as a MacBook pro or air so that doesn’t seem right to me and I must be wrong. Am I wrong? I still think that if people think the MacBooks are such bad value that something at this price point should be better than a MacBook. But it doesn’t seem to be. Anyone able to explain this disparity between reality and what people say?

Odd comment considering the price difference.

But for a start the screen wipes the floor with even the most powerful Macbook. Performance is also on par, as is the build quality. Also Windows which some people prefer to Mac OS.

Not sure what your point is?

If I get this laptop, used it and didn’t like it can I still return to Amazon?

Why is all RAM soldered these days? Literally any of these or huawei would work for me if not for RAM...

A good way for the manufacturers to ask 2 or 3 times the price for extra RAM or give you no option but to buy a much more expensive high-end configuration if you want more memory. (edited)
