i5-6200U. Not i5-7200U

exactly, which is why it IS the 520 graphics
620 is on the newer machines with 7th gen cpu

heated. still good price for the specs.

1600x900 screen
6th gen CPU
Intel 520 graphics

It's not bad per se but think it's possible to do better, if it were 7th gen with 620 graphics I'd heat this but not as is

i hear what you are saying, but in the current inflationary period for RAM and laptops would love to see a better specced new laptop for the same price

Worth paying an extra £50 for the HP 250 G6 posted from ebuyer IMO.

256GB SSD - less storage but WAY faster.

But only if you don't mind HP laptops. I think ASUS is a better build quality, but marginal at this budget price point.

4.5% cashback at quidco knocks about £18 off this.

I'm in the market for a similar laptop so will be keeping an eye on this and other deals!

Bare minimum should be 64GB M.2 disk (preferably 128) and then mechanical storage if you really must. I think everything I use is pure SSD now, hate it when customers bring me laptops to fix and they take minutes just to boot

Go to Google, and type in "SSD hosting". Brace yourself to facepalm accordingly.

And how widely is that being used compared to traditional "mechanical filth" web? It's a niche market due to prices/sizes of SSDs... Years, if not decades away from being implemented.
