Yeah, I'd go for a larger screen over "1ms" rating every time.

That said it's a perfectly reasonable price for a 24" so nothing wrong with the deal.
the part the stood out to me was the 3 year Warranty
its a 24 inch tn monitor there are plenty of them for £80-90 so no its not really a deal and isnt really a gaming monitor so i dont see why people should pick this over better options
Been watching this for ages and there is an IPS version. Would prefer that for the better viewing angles.

Its pushing it a bit to call a faster delivery option a deal when the price for this monitor isn't exactly groundbreaking in the first place.

Why isn't it a gaming monitor?

Gaming monitor must have low response time and high refresh rate and this is only achievable in TN panels. In this case this is only 60hz monitor. It's hardly a gaming monitor considering there are monitors with 75, 120 and 144hz refresh rates. There is a massive difference between 60hz and 144hz.

Quick example, watch a standard 720p or 1080p video on youtube and then watch similar video in the same quality in 60fps. You can notice the smoothness straight away and that's 60 fps which is equivalent to 60hz. Just so you know there is even a bigger gap between 60hz and 144hz and you can spot it straight away in games.

60 hz is fine for gaming but for about 190-200 you can get 144 hz and freesync which would be a gaming monitor as its features are aimed at gaming this is just a monitor as it offers no extra features for gaming

incorrect im afraid VA panels can do 144 and even overclock to 200 hz and have better colours than tn but they are more expensive,

Yup. TN panel '1ms' claims have been consistently shown to be marketing, with only very small areas of the panel ever achieving this with generally poor quality (high amounts of overshoot). Check out TFTCentral for many examples.

This is just a low end TN panel screen. I hate the need for every PC item to have "Gaming" attached to it. There is nothing about this screen that makes it particularly well suited to gaming over any other low end TN panel display. Sure you can play games on it, like all of the others out there, but the gaming tag literally means nothing.
HEAT!

Plus buying this monitor means we can all breath fresh air for longer

60Hz is crap for gaming, try 144Hz.

Nicely put - is too true. People that say there is no difference just havent used a 144hz or 120hz monitor. Even Windows is snappier and smoother - very noticeable even in this minor operation. The real diffference shows in gaming. My friend got a 144hz monitor and when I saw him playing COD3 I had to have one. Turning left or right in game is blur free, never will I use 60hz for gaming again. To anyone who is dubious - try one and your'll see.
