You missed out the word that came before gaming.
A 24 2K monitor was something special in 2015 but this has been out for 3 years now and for £180 you are in the ball-park for 27 inch IPS 2K monitors. Just saying.

Personally I'd prefer a 24" over a 27", I don't like having to look round the monitor and find 24 to be the sweet spot for my desk setup. This one is IPS as well, so should be decent.

Anyone here used a 1440p and a 1080p monitor in a dual setup? Any weird scaling issues or other annoyances?

Yes, I found my eyes searching around a 27 inch monitor that I had recently and sent back - that was quite a surprise for me.

I did wonder whether it would be good exercise for my eye muscles though and might improve my eyesight - my eyesight did seem better after using it for a few days.

Set the 1440p to 125% scale in the display setting. In your browser set to 120-125%. I don't find any weird scaling at all.
Would this Monitor suit nicely with this Deal here? - hotukdeals.com/dea…585

All I want to do is be able to Run Forza on it so I wanted a budget gaming setup, Seeing as the Laptop is a TN Panel this seems a good idea?

Colours and crisp detail on this are great, had one for couple of years (for general use / movies / games, refresh rate is fine, but don't play many 'twitchy' FPS, witcher 3 looks great on it), one thing I did have to get used to is how super bright the white is (if you don't turn brightness down, have to leave mine on about 60)
I have owned this monitor for the past 3 years and it has been used as a spare/3rd monitor up until recently.

Notable drawbacks:
5ms
60hz
No display port
No pivot
Unstable stand
Not mountable

The very thin display border is nice
Blue light filter works well

For a 2nd/3rd monitor it would be acceptable for limited use.

There are far better options available.

In which regards are you referring to as better, the MS delay, maximum Hz, resolution or panel type ?

What are your requirements and main use for the monitor ?
My friend is having problems getting it to work properly on mac osx 2014 mbp. anyone else have a blurry screen? I think it might be that you need to force osx to be rgb, but he hasn't tried this yet. Will report back if it works.

Similar spec for less, or better spec of any sort for the same. Simple question.

I asked a very simple question to assist you with finding a better option for your specific needs but your low effort response doesn't help me at all, nor does it suffice wasting any time looking into this again.

Sorry you took it that way. No worries - I wasn't expecting you you to do my own research. And thanks for your original post.
