"The screen quality is ok, but the viewing angles are terrible. You have to adjust the screen to be looking dead on at it with any sort of movement else you won't be able to see anything - it is really bad. " (edited)

For most people, TN screens are perfectly fine; they're dominant amongst laptops, and few people complain.
Not all TN are bad, and not all IPS are good.
