I really need a new laptop and this was affordable. As you say, some greedy peeps

Companies should put a restriction on people being able to buy more then 2 I hope there card gets declined and they refuse the orders

amazingmy cheap. must have been a misprint as for that price from this seller u can expect a celeron not an i3!

I was in process of buying 1 and someone bought 10..... it shouldn't be allowed, I'm so annoyed.

Let's hope that greedy **** who bought 50 of them, get's stuck with some of them.

How much net profit are they going to make anyway when you think about it. Selling at £250 each will net about £45 after fees on ebay and then to make attractive purchases may have to offer free delivery. If they are a business seller they are likely to have to offer returns etc. So maybe £40 net profit on each one after factoring in some postage. £2k profit from having to shift 50 laptops and shelling out £8.5k in the first place doesn't sound as good

I think these are actual the Intel Celeron 1007U version whats quite a bit slower as I dont think Intel make a Intel core i3-3217U processor at 1.5GHz processor speed.I might be wrong but asus states this model avaliable with 3 dif processors

Intel® Core™ i3 3217U Processor
Intel® ULV Pentium® 2117U Processor
Intel® Celeron® 1007U Processor

of which the celeron is the only one running at 1.5ghz and has the 500mb hd and 4gb ram.

That is an immature comment, and I suppose you apply to that other things now?

If they sold you something, that was not described in the actual listing, that would make them liable. I know mistakes happen (not sure why), but I would assume being an experienced outlet store, they would know this.

That looks like a distinct possibility. In my rush to post I can't say that I did much research as to whether the description was wrong.

No offence to the people who have bought one but I would pi$$ myself if they turned out to be celeron processors after that guy bought 50

No but a 23.5% return looks good to me when most laptop retailers are making much less...plus don't forget the fees as they are a business seller (probably) will be around £20-£25 so £55-60 minus some cheap shipping...looking better all day long.
