Vista????

No big deal. Just install something else. Hot from me.

Good deal in my opinion.:)

weight 3kg ?

RRP WAS £1299.97...3 years ago?

How does the processor rate compared to other £400 laptops? cpubenchmark has i3-350m at 2059 compared to 2025 for the T9600. Is the big difference the graphics card?

A mate of mine has £400 to spend on a laptop, and we're looking at best options. He's not bothered about gaming really.

Yeah 2.5kg of that is Vista

Nice!!!

How does this compare to the hp offer with the amd p520 processor?

Hmm; i'm torn.

If it was a desktop replacement, i'd want a bigger screen & higher resolution.

If portability is more important, this laptop might be too heavy due to the extra width.
The older tech processor along with a dedicated GPU isn't going to do wonders for battery life either.

It's a good spec, at a good price - but I can't see a use for this particular configuration.
Voted hot anyway.

The HP offer with the i3 processor has similar performance to this. Also the graphics performance seems pretty close. Even with 10% off and 10% quidco, the HP is still a bit more expensive. But the HP has Windows 7 and I think is a more recent model - so I'd choose that myself.

I have an old laptop that I can trade in so I'm definitely going to go for the HP.

Tempting as need a new lappy.

Would rather have an Asus than a HP, but want a laptop with a much better battery life.

hmmmm old tech can be good as see in those novatech deals by tehjumpingjawa but this isn't in the same league.
odd one id leave it

The Novatech deal was not in the same price range though, but still very tempting.
Agree with TehJumpingJawa on the use of this configuration. If only the resolution was a bit better...
Voted hot anyway for the price!
