Product Overview
If you’re the super productive type, then you’ve probably found that some laptops just can’t keep up. That’s not the case with this Asus laptop, which has got some serious tech up its sleeve. The super-fast processor and RAM mean it can easily run lots of programmes at the same time, all while making it look effortless. Work docs, photos, creative projects and downloaded apps are no match for the laptop’s storage either, thanks to the 512GB SSD. Plus, spending a lot of time working on the screen won’t get annoying with its stunning crisp picture, while the 12-hour battery life means there really is no end to what you two can achieve.

Storage size 16gb. Does that mean I can open it up and add 8gb?

Afaik the ram is soldered on this one and there’s no option to add another RAM stick.

How much is it? It's great that you have copied all the information from their website but forgot the price (edited)

Gotta be honest, the chassis isn't the best on this one tried it and returned it as the plastic creaked too much and ports seemed flimsy. The screen and track pad numeric keypad feature however is pretty smart, priced about right and will fit on any plane no doubt!

It's a aluminium metal chassis and it's the most rigid I've felt since the older good quality ThinkPad (not like the new plastic bendy crap they're selling) (edited)

It's so annoying that laptops nowadays have things like memory soldiered on & manufacturers seem to be making it more difficult to upgrade or repair. Basically if something goes wrong nowadays they want you to throw away & a spend a fortune on a new one. So much for sustainabiity

I don't understand the logic behind this, if RAM is 8gb but you can't upgrade or add to it why does it say 16gB ram?

Why cripple a pc with 8gb ram?

    Ultrabook and planned obsolescence

It's a good laptop for the £330 I paid. Not sure about £533 in this deal

8GB fixed RAM is a problem for long-term usage but might be ok for ultrabook/portability as a second/third machine. Not a bad price but not incredible, the OLED is very good for media playback though.
