Always wanted one of these. Very compact and lightweight for the size. Good battery life and the gtx 1050 will manage some dialled back modern AAA gaming. 512 ssd and i7 1080p screen.

Details from Amazon:
Intel i7-8565U Processor
16 GB Memory
512 GB PCI-e SSD
Nvidia GTX 1050 Max-Q Graphics
Windows 10

It's not a gaming laptop but an ultraportable but yet still powerful pc. I have a desktop for 'proper gaming'

Only downside I can see is no usb c charging. (And thunderbolt if anyone actually cares about that)

Best price for uk retailer I've seen

Urgh no usb-c charging. Deal breaker for me
It was available for this price for a long time. It's decent for this price. But wouldn't consider it hot hot. Not cold either
I'm looking for the 14 inch. It was at this price just before last Friday but is now gone...
Specs on this are nice and the bezel to screen ratio is beautiful, however does anyone have an idea of a model which is similar in spec to this with a discrete gpu which is UHD?
Why is it not a gaming laptop? 16gb ram i7 plus graphics card....it could handle it surely ?

Whilst it has a dedicated graphics card it is one designed to use less battery life so will be nowhere near as powerful as the dedicated 'gaming laptops' (which will need less portable large batteries or be plugged into mains). Its expired now anyway I'm afraid
