Use code WINDOWS10 to get this price from £999.99 down to £899.99

This is an extremely thin ultrabook with an i7 processor, 16GB Ram and 512GB SSD so one for the high end techies amongst you. USB charging and upto 9 hrs battery.

Seems about the best price I have seen for this.

If you go via quidco, you can get £30 cashback and they also have an offer on for some people for £10 extra cashback when spending over £100.

Thanks to thel33ter - Blue is £799.97 - https://www.hotukdeals.com/visit/comment/32321040/15639550

This is a great deal for anyone after a decent lightweight laptop. Only 950g!

Also, comes with a free software bundle (gets emailed after a couple of weeks) which includes Dirt 4 (Steam key). I sold mine key on eBay for £25 too.

Have some heat!

£900 for a duo core. Really?????

high price but pretty high spec as well and amazingly light.

Compare this to an i7 surface book or pro. This ones a lot cheaper

Need a new laptop any recommendations

I would jump on this if it didnt have just one usb c port that also has to be used for the charger. The one element they did not need to copy macbook 12 on.

For anyone wanting to save some money. There's one available on CEX grade A for £825. uk.m.webuy.com/pro…10a

It has 8GB ram and an i5 rather than 16GB and an i7 although in reality particularly for this type of machine that's not likely to make a noticeable difference.

Is this slower than a desktop Pentium Dualcore?

Only in the last month or so has there been a quad core CPU suitable for Ultrabooks and that doesn't clock nearly as high as a full fat 35w quad core.
Asking for more is like asking to fit 4 adults and their luggage into a mid engine sports car.
You cannot beat the laws of physics and likewise premium products cost more even if you can't fit your golf clubs in them.

I couldn't care less. My point is these should be priced lower. Ultrabook or not you are paying 900 for a dual core processor slim laptop

So in your mind every £30K car should have an engine fit for a sports car?
It's a very narrow way of looking at things and is only a reflection of your tastes not of everybody elses.

Completely different. I know the individual prices of each component in this laptop. This laptop is like buying a Mercedes with a 1.6 Ford focus engine fitted

Ultra thin laptops carry their own challengedn to build. Heat, motherboard and power dissipation all much more of a problem and costs reflect this.
