I really want this with the 16GB ram to drop below 1k. One day!
I was looking at a Zenbook today to assess the FHD over HD. The FHD made everything very small, virtually beyond enjoyable for general browsing. I switched several times from one display to the next on different pages. Probably nice to have FHD as an option but perhaps not worth the premium charged on a 14 inch screen and some will find FHD makes the display difficult. But the Zenbook's are nice, would really be looking for 8th gen now though.
Voted warm at the price.

That's what DPI scaling is for, I find 1080p @ 115% scaling is the sweet spot on a 14" screen for me effectively giving 1770x940px, much nicer/sharper than 720p but still easily readable.
