This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

ASUS ZenBook UX534 Ultra HD 15.6 Inch 4K Laptop (Intel i7-10510U, NVIDIA GTX 1650 4 GB Graphics, 512 GB PCI-e SSD + 32 GB Intel Optane Memory, 16 GB RAM, ScreenPad, Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10)

This was £1499 about two days ago.

Not for gaming but a very good specification for everything else. I did consider this before buying the Huawei but for the sort of thing which myself and my partner were looking for Huawei is a good compromise plus the 12 month payment option

How does this compare to an iMac

If you have to ask this question then you probably don't need either of them. One's an all in one pc and the other's a laptop.
I like the specs, but there are better CPU's out there and I think it worth looking for them if similair price is available:41700571-Zf2Tp.jpg

Where did you get the Huawei from?

From Amazon, I posted another deal on that which most people don't seem to like it :-)

My reasoning, i7-10510U (Ubiquitous amongst all other OEMs in this price range and class), 16GB RAM (Not many are offering in the Ultrabook segment for this price), 512GB (Again, not many in this price range with an i7 and 16GB RAM), 2GB Dedicated Graphics (Most Ultrabooks don't have this), USB C & Thunderbolt Fast Charging (Not many), beyond FHD screen with touch and more than 300nits (No one else in this price range), excellent build and above all 12 month interest free option from Amazon

Agreed but not with a 4K touchscreen and the rest of the specification. You would certainly make some compromises with every single purchase

I feel it's just an average spec. 10xxxU cpu is low power model and 512gb ssd is low end of high spec. And windows OS may be bloated by these fellas.
Also once people start to admire MacBook PRO and how they packed all of these at £2000 , and compare similar spec HP, dell etc they are at par or costlier than macbook

You're right you have to spend £1000 more than this to get a macbook that matches it's performance. For this price bracket you get last years low end model with an i5 processor, integrated graphics a 13" screen and a 256gb hard disk. and the myth that OS X runs quicker is disproved test after test after test.

Not at all. The last years macbook is i5 powerful cpu and is better than this i7 10xxU and build quality much better

If you see deals like this: hotukdeals.com/dea…046

It's much much better than windows laptop which depreciates much faster too

Apples to oranges really. This is a windows laptop with a fairly powerful graphics card, so it's more about portable gaming. Macbook wouldn't serve you half as well at that purpose. Both because no gpu and because MacOS barely works with any games. If you wanted a better comparison, this machine with better build quality, you'd be looking at the XPS 15. Low-mid range Windows laptops may depreciate in value, but Mac depreciate in performance waaaaay quicker, and that's way more important.

As an aside, work in IT and see the absolute worst of Macs, can't believe people still buy them. Especially for the money. Marketing is the only reason, can't see anything solid behind it.
