Sounds like a lot of phone for the money although I'm not up on their version of android.
And here's me thinking you were at work!
Really like the look of this phone but like you say it's still OOS in the UK.
Why promote it if its not going to be available!

Shush though, don't tell the missus 🤫
Shame they botched the UK release. Really wanted this phone. Picked up a Samsung A70 instead.
Don't lose hope OP of getting this under your belt

1+7, 8/256 is £100 less on same retailer, that's what I'd go for
Edited by: "xavierluther" 19th Aug
They'll never allow us to get it.

The loss in VAT alone never mind sales to other major phones manufacturers mean it'll only be here in small quantity if at all.

More likely in the building trade, they're always slacking instead of working.
I really want this but waiting for the price to go down

By the way video stabilisation is amazing on this phone it's almost like running on a gimbal

4G phones will depreciate very soon when all new phones are 5G. Still voted hot for those areas where 5G will not come for years.

Good phone. Was waiting for this phone. But at this price, I would pick 1+7 Pro over this.

5G is in its infancy and we won't see full potential until a few years. All a marketing hype at the moment so 4G will be okay for a year or two. Cheaper phones are win win though

Rubbish. Doomsday cult. Grapes are sour. 5G is already in London and I am enjoying my 5G phone. Don't waste your money on 4G if you live in big city like London . 4G phones will lose value very fast as it happened to 3G and 2G. Only if you live in countryside, 4G may be OK for now.

I never said it is not their money. I just said read the writing on the wall and use your common sense. This is not a cheap phone, nearly £500.

lol I know you didn't say it's not their money, but you said "Don't waste your money on 4G" and my point was that it's their decision.

Haha I'm not sour. I don't think you understand how 5G wavelengths work. Yes, London may have some spots of coverage but what about the rest of London and the UK. I don't even detest your comment about phones losing value but I am correct in saying it is in its infancy at the moment.
this is about the US but works on the same principal. Out of curiosity how much are you paying for your 5G coverage or are you with 3?

It is more about USA than UK. USA is very big and uses mmwave frequency for 5G as USA ran out of other low band frequencies for 5G . Even 4G is much faster on 5G phone due to Mimo etc . And I have 5G signal both at home and work so cannot think of going back to 4G. And I did not pay top dollar 1600 for 5G phone like in the video , only £550. So basically if you live in 5G area, then it is the way to go. Otherwise buy a 5G phone on contract , and sell it on ebay as 5G phones are selling for a premium on ebay etc. People are not foolish paying premium for 5G phones.

Still sketchy coverage at the moment including London but yes it's the way forward.
