Would not buy an over priced Crapple.......

Yawn.....

Been flirting with ordering one from here - amazon.co.uk/App…8-1

£1,244.88

Seller seems to have good reviews, but is the extra money worth the John Lewis Guarantee?

Yeah I know, thought it would be worth the wait..

Cool and sexy looking, sleek and powerful, trendy and hip, seperates the creative from the geeks... ...but ultimately waaaaaaaaaaaaaay overpriced!

...bit like the iphone, ipad etc...and I don't even dislike Apple!

Not more lies!

Hey don't forget the free sleeve worth 39.99 that's also included! So this beats the Black Friday deal on two accounts!

Very nice.

You can see it listed in the link. You claim it at checkout...
Also honoured in-store...
Probably the best ever Apple deal I've seen on a product that has barely launched.

Can't see the free sleeve

In the warranties and promotions box. Add to basket then use code at checkout. Or just ask in store.
Page doesn't fully display on phone browser so check on a tablet or comp.
It is there!

what's the code at checkout?

If only there was deals on the 15" version of this I would love one at discount

AcmeProBlack or AcmeProPurple depending on your choice.

Are you sure this Mac is the one for you? ;-)

Lol just seen it. I think I need a 17 inch:|

I can get it for £1245.60 with students discount

But don't you then have to pay £48 for the AppleCare warranty ?

Still the cheapest around, so HOT

No, that is for the phone support. The 3 years warranty comes regardless.

Not easy to get a decent discount on new Apple gear, Hot!

These machines are seriously fast. Check out their geekbench scores. Tasty

As an Apple user, I have started to feel that the 13 inch MBP is a bit of a ripped off! At £1299 you don't even blardy get a discreet GPU!!!

Anyway, good price for anyone looking to invest in this since it comes with 3 yrs warranty...

Pre flamedeer this would have been voted as cold as the North pole

Hot, but I'm after the 15 retina for as cheap as POSSIBLE

This is a deal to be honest. I bought a new MacBook Pro nearly
4 years ago and it's still going strong. I would usually trash a laptop in 18 months and the mac has never given me one bit of trouble.

They're fast, but they aren't fast enough to be their money's worth. You could get a killer laptop with top of the line specs for £1000+ that would destroy these Macs in terms of performance.

Not to mention the most of the GPU power is used to power the Retina display making gaming at such stupidly high resolution and half decent settings impossible.

Who would buy dual-core laptop in 2012 for almost £1300?
Sheepple and iPony lovers!

For anyone buying through the official student stores online - you do not need to purchase apple care. When I purchased my Macbook air last year I recieved in the post a letter stating that as well as the online discount for students your warranty gets upgraded from one to three years so you don't need Apple care.
