No bluetooth, no wifi, no remote control just pops and crackles in glorious stereo...
There were a few left instore. Not sure if its National but about £20 cheaper than I could find it elsewhere. Retired the trusty PL-12D and connected this to a NAD 3240PE. Sounds good. Bit of rumble in the gaps between tracks with the wick turned up but hey that's what records should sound like!

That's a good deal. Never seen these below £199. Reviews are very positive. And costco are a good retailer.
bargain - great home turntable, nice AT cartridge and stylus, warm sound to it, for the price it's fantastic
Isn't it USB version?
I'm an excentric: I got tired of 'pops' and 'crackles' and 'rumble' years and years ago (not to mention record wear, distortion, crosstalk etc) then fortunately cds came along and I realised I didn't have to put up with them any more.
I have one of these, nice budget turntable with a good weight to it.

Agreed. So did I. Then I thought Zappa's Hot Rats on CD just didn't sound right compared to my original LP. Too much compression. Fortunately most of my LPs are in good nick. BTW the quote re pops and crackles refers to the cynic complaining about the transition from mono to stereo.

There is a USB line output from a built in pre amp if u want to digitise music or play via powered speakers. But there's also a vanilla unamplified phono output if your amp has that input.

Me too. Love CDs and have stacks and stacks. But also have lots of vinyl in loft and many are not available on CD or YouTube either. They're forgotten. Until they are played again and they sound great on these newer turntables ! Some are from the 60s and 70s and it's amazing to hear such a great sound from something 50 years old. EMI logos & made in Great Britain written on them . Makes me think someone spent a lot of effort making these records sound great and look great too.
Great price and a great turntable, like a technics 1210 clone on features, reverse button, pitch control 10/20% , quartz lock, arm height adjustment, 33/45/78 although 78 would need a stylus change.
Bought one today. Looks and sounds fabulous. It is a nationwide deal. Plenty in Haydock, Liverpool store are out of stock till 5th January.
Mind test your anti skate with an old blank cd , known problem with these mine was 0.9 out, not a major issue but worth checking.
