Not bad, although they could also consider releasing a 5200 console that actually has a working controller. I already have most of the 2600 games that I want but I never bothered to purchase a 5200 because of the atrocious controller.

No Keystone Capers, no Megamania, no Pitfall!!!

COLD

not C-64

Hell, no Pong or Tank Command either!!

HDMI out?

Where's River Raid?!

or Frogger!

WHAT!! No ET!!!!

I had a 2600 and as much as I love retro games, I have to say that from what I remember most 2600 games were what would now be called shovelware. I'd advise anyone to try out an emulator first before spending actual cash on this.

Why no space invaders best ever game ???????

I remember my Dad buying me and my brother a 2600 it was £100 and the games was about £25 each .

There is no defender aswell

Whirly

yeah true, but you can always use the joysticks as sex aids

Needs PAC-Man and Space invaders

OMG - AWESOME deal !!

Thank you OP

Clusters revenge?

WHAT!! No ET!!!!

Exactly! Why would they leave out the 7th highest selling Atari game ever?!? :P

skykid3

Lets face it ET was rubbish and if i remember was astronomically expensive £70 i think. It was a pile of junk. Some reviewers gave it a pounding.

Yeah I know, I was just joking!

No Frogger, Defender or Demon Attack :-/

no space invaders,no snoopy and the red barron, cold lol nah good spot

Noooooo no Moon patrol!

This is the equivalent of some kitchen gadget that goes under the sink after two uses and stays there until the sun goes nova.

the games are not as good as you remember. if you are thinking about this look online for a flash or java emulator first.

I remember mom & dad buying me the atari the first year it was out. Cost a fortune by the standards of the time, about £100, they got a deal with Space Invaders as well. Loved it though

Will this run Skyrim on 8 bit settings ?

Have to agree some classic games both popular and cult missing from these. Must be the popular ones still have resale value on phones etc i.e. Space Invaders Pac Man Frogger etal so to license them and put on the actual console would probably double the price.

Shame. Hot for the retro console and Cold for missing key games. Top spot Op I feel like a 7 year old remembering getting one for Christmas day and playing space invaders practically 8 hrs a day till new year. Those were the simple playing days.

The games u all want have copyright / ownership issues. Pitfall, River Raid, Keystone Kapers were Activision games. Frogger / Defender etc have similar issues. This is the stuff that Atari have the rights to

lol, was waiting for someone to bring that up

Part of dad's xmas prezy sorted! Cheers

Voted hot for a bit of nostalgia but er video gaming has moved on quite a bit since the 2600 was around, this will end up in the cupboard before the day is out.

Main classy games are missing

Not Apple. Has to be cold.

Load of crap. I played Atari as a child, was great back then but wouldn't touch this with a barge pole. Times have moved on....... And on....... And on, etc etc...

5 minute wonder!

Will this get an ICS update?

If anyone buys this, I applaud you.

If anyone manages to play this for more than an hour, you deserve a medal.

Still got my original 2600 from about 1981....I don't have any of the original joysticks though, as I managed to break them all when I got Daley Thompson's Decathlon on my Commodore 64 (blisters and broken joysticks....happy days!)

It's a shame they couldn't get the licenses to make this a great product. No Space Invaders is a deal breaker for me.

HDMI out?

Yeah, and 3D and Dolby digital

No Q-bert, No Defender or defender 2? No Xenophobe?!!!!
