One does not buy a remake of a 40 year old console for the graphics!
Tempted to buy this just because my artwork is on the back of the box (albeit tiny - I did the cover of the 2004 release of 1983 unreleased Howard Warshaw game, Saboteur).

Hi Guys,

Just bought this head added! Does anyone know how to connect this to a HDMI TV, do I need any adapters. Thank You

Yes, and converted to many other 8 bit machines of the time, it was a Coin-op Arcade game.
Just remember folks this is primitive 8 bit crap, Atari 2600 VCS crap. A lot of these games have superior ports on the Atari 8 Bit Computer line (400/600/800/XL/XE).

Obviously there are some classic exclusives such as Yar's Revenge, but please don't buy it on the sake of thinking you are going to get Asteroids etc looking like it did in the arcades....it will look like this....

I just purchased the 34.99 HD one because of the wireless controllers mainly. Shame there's no PacMan, Bezerk, or DigDug

Well, I fully intend on playing mine
Do the controllers still have that classic stiff feel or are these cheap versions?

I'm sure the cartridges were £20+ when they came out
Loved Yars Revenge!
Tempting but we all know it'll just collect dust after half hr of play
Reserved, thanks

No...but there are a lot that don't realise just how primitive the VCS was compared to other machines of the time. There are way better ports of games on other formats of that time, including as I have said Atari's own 8 Bit Computer line.
HEAT ordered thanx

I expect >99% of these purchases won't be used after an hour max of gameplay.
I’ve gotta get me one of these!
It’s a steal at this price!
First I game I looked for....Yars revenge.
Classic!
No pac man

Most of these games were too primitive to ever be that enjoyable even as nostalgia. When it's all there was, sure, but couldn't go back to something like this. It's part of why the video game market crashed in the 80s in the states. Thank goodness for the NES and master system (and to a lesser extent DOS and c64 and spectrum over here ) which although still primitive were advanced enough to make some amazing games. If the system is powerful enough to be modded and run other systems like the ps Mini or SNES mini this could be very worthwhile but I'm guessing it can't be?
