I guess we can see a minor war between the new GTX 460 and the HD5830. It is overdue, ATI have practically had the DX11 market to themselves for a year or so!

I bought the 1GB GTX460 - What a card

Played Metro 2033 and Stalker CoP in DX11 at max settings no problem, along with Age of Conan in DX10 with everything maxed between 30-50FPS. Massive increase from my old 8800GT.

The only problem I have is that I have just got into League of Legends this week - and my old ZX spectrum could probably run that game

If you can find the extra cash I would definately go for the GTX 460 1GB version - it will las a lot longer than the cheaper one, but looking at the benchmarks i'd get the cheaper GTX 460 rather than the ATI 5830.

The GTX 460 768MB is indeed ever so slightly better than the HD 5830 in benchmarks.

This is for people who are realy tight on a budget and may prefer a ATI card.

I personally would also go for the GTX 460.
