This is not bad for the price, if voteing cold, please explain why

The Radeon HD 5870 is a revolutionary graphics card that provides first-rate performances with the latest HD video games.

It's compatible with DirectX11 and includes ATI Eyefinity technology, allowing you to use up to three screens at the same time.

What's more, the Radeon HD 5870 is equipped with 40nm transistors to reduce power consumption, and it's designed to get more out of the new features in Windows 7.

It's an average price. If you include shipping the price comes in as £277.50. You can get a 5870 over at Novetech for £275 with the Free 3-4 Day delivery service.

Cold because you can get a 5850 a fair bit cheaper and it will easily clock up to 'not as clockable' 5870.

That's not a valid reason to vote cold ffs, not everyone wants to buy a 5850 and overclock it, this deal is for the 5870 pure and simple and should be voted accordingly.

Someone keen enough to spend circa £220-£300 will have enough nouse to know it's a false economy not to overclock.

in your opinion. you're basically second guessing everyone who has that much money to spend on a card. And even if that is the case, this deal is still specifically for the 5870 card and should be voted accordingly as per the ethos of the site, not based on the assumption that everyone should take your advice.

Take my advice or leave it. I don't care either way - just an opinion!

Stupid time to buy a 5870 unless you get a REALLY good deal, which this is not. Expect to see the prices of these plummit when the 6870 is released (next month or so). I reckon it may be sub £200 by November...
