Thought I would post this deal as I usually stock up when they are on offer. Normally at least £1.99 per pack in the shops and more online with postage included.

I try and follow a low-ish carb diet because I find it helps with my chronic pain conditions and these crispbreads are a fantastic substitute for normal crackers and bread.

Hope this helps someone

Do they differ from Ryvita?

Do they differ from Ryvita?

They are the same size and shape and much lower carbs. As far as texture goes they are just as crunchy but possibly a bit less 'bitty' than Ryvita
Nice one op ordered 2 ready for new year resolution heat added
Pretty good deal! I wish they would bring back their harvest bars
To be fair buy a 400g loaf of wholemeal bread and eat half a slice toasted.

Some wholemeal is better than others (check ingredients) and it'll cost you £1-ish
The energy cost to make this is enormous. Your killing the planet, Greta and me!

Just this or processed food generally?
Since losing 3 stone on a SW Diet my conclusion is just eat less! Instead of two of these crispbreads that are pumped full of air just eat 1 Ryvita. Smaller portions are the way to go, trains your stomach not to expect so much and that tells your brain you're not so hungry, that's my take on it!

The lowest carb bread I can find is Burgen and its still around 11g carbs per slice so I just prefer to eat 3-4 of these for around 5-6g carbs lol

To help with pain? I have found that cutting out as many carbs as possible ie all the normal things like bread, pasta, potato has really helped but you do end up eating less processed food as well and just sticking to meat, fish, vegetables etc

Morrison sell protein bread - carbs 8 g/ slice. M&S sell 9g/ slice , Warburton and similar 10 g/ slice -- all 400g loaf. White bread Aldi 10g/ slice again 400g

Cost from 50p Aldi, the brown 80 to 100 p all sometimes on offer.

Thanks for the info, I don't have a Morrison or M&S in my local town unfortunately but I always buy an 800g loaf anyway so would be interested if there is an 800g loaf that is better than the Burgen

Lidl do a loaf similar to burgen. If you check the nutrition labelling and ingredients of a range of loaves there are cheaper similar available in all supermarkets.

Imo Burgen is over rated. If you are limiting carb intake to between 50g - 100g / day .. then brand or what food product it is doesn't matter what does is the amount you consume.
