Hi, I got caught by a cheap car rental...check the fuel policy is not a full to empty policy as this could cost you another £100....if not good deal!!!

cracking deal - insulting not to vote hot.
Good spot

Blimey - that cheap. I've got a discount link for Holiday Autos that I always use and their prices are coming in even cheaper lol

Don't forget to avoid the motorway if you can... The tolls can add up even over short trips, some companies will take from your credit card details after the trip

Keep away from such an awful company. Ripped me off and many many others. Check out the review sites before you think that you should pay to be scre*ed over. Cold is too warm for this lot. In summary, sold me an expensive deal for a 7 seater, gave me a cheaper smaller car, because the one advertised didn't exist in their fleet. Wouldn't honour me the difference. Eventually wouldn't even give me the courtesy of a reply.... Same strategy applied to many others.... They will not respond to your emails... They would not give me details of where I should send the legal correspondences to. Again check the reviews... You have been warned..

I have used Atlaschoice countless times and never had any problems with them, good rentals and very affordable prices. Cannot speak for other people but I've always been happy with their services. They source their cars from different companies, this deal came from Thrifty car rental. Unlimited mileage and fuel tank full or 1/4 (returning the same). Also got an upgrade when they did not have the car I picked once and also replaced a dirty car when i complained another time. Very happy with AtlasChoice!

Thrifty Cars?! Just make sure you bring a credit card and not a debit card with you when you pick up the car. If you haven't got one, you'll probably have the same experience as me -- no car unless you take out the extra insurance for about the same price as the car hire!

I've been ripped off by Faro airport cheap car hire. Last time I refused to pay all the extras and found it was just as cheap to hire with Avis who will give you all the good customer service and no rip off made-up damage that you'll get with a cheapo company when you return the car -

btw, you'll find your car tucked away in a dusty, dirty corner of a dingy car park when you hire cheap

Most 3 to 4 rentals do not sting you with a full tank charge.
Recently booked a week via an agent with sixt for 30 quid
No fuel charges just take back full.
be aware most companies sting you with fuel charges now, read the small print before booking

Atlaschoice, like Holiday Autos, act as a middleman in the car hire process. However they don't seem to vet the suppiers that they use.
Notice on the website that they list their partners as being Avis, Hertz, Sixt, Alamo, Europcar, National, Budget & Dollar - so that's who you would expect to get. However, to quote Atlaschoice "Atlas is acting as a broker agent for almost 350 companies all over the world, and there would not be enough space on our home page to advertise all of them."
In reality, you won't find out who you will supply your car, with until you pay - by which time, if you want to cancel, you will have to pay £15/£25/50% depending on how soon the rental pickup date is.

I found this out on my only booking, when I realised that the "airport pickup", was some one man cowboy outfit that was going to meet up with us outside the terminal, The reviews of the hire company were woeful.
In the end I argued the point, that I expected one of the name brands, that they prominently show on the website - and that they deliberately hid the actual hire company. They did refund, without the cancellation charge.

I have just come back from Sevilla and paid 200E for a car for 4 days as full/empty fuel policy. ripoff
I regularly go to Faro in the winter and use travelrent.pt/ and they normally do me a focus estate for 4 days for 60E with no fuel surcharges, just bring it back with same level. Fully insured, no extras, no hassle when dropping off. Used a dozen times so can recommend.
