Due to the A Class Merc deal that's gone pretty hot, upon looking through other parts of the website I found this deal for an A5 Coupe (yes its changing it's shape at the end of the year/early 2016). But an average of £250 per month.

This thread shouldn't be a debate over the pro's and con's of PCP, HP, leases or buying outright. It's about a specific deal that will suit some and not others.

Month 1 @ £1190.76 incl VAT initial rental (6 months)
Then 23 @ £198.46 incl VAT

Personal Contract Hire
Contract term : 24 months

Annual mileage : 8000

CO2 band : D (121-130 g/km) resulting in tax of 0 in year one and £110 in year 2.

Arrangement Fee of £180

So top of the range A5, excluding fuel and insurance for 2 years is:

£5755.34 + £180 + £110 = £251.89 per month average

nextgreencar.com/vie…ed/

NB: Also got some pretty good deals on the A6

Cmon, this is getting silly, plainly obvious either this company is phishing for your details or has leant how to get fake advertisement, none of these prices are real, I am surprised admin are allowing all these deals

I don't believe this. At all.

OK folks, I don't dispute this seems pretty good, but to discount it without hard facts is a major negative of HUKD. I've merely seen it, posted it and no doubt find out tomorrow if its b/s or not. But to vote it down based on an educated hunch is not in the spirit of the site.

I agree, if it turns out this, and others are not genuine deals. according to someone in the merc a220 thread, they pulled this same stunt a few weeks ago.

You've just highlighted one of the downsides for posting up potential deals. You'll always get the sad few that belittle and mock the Op just for posting something up. You're not even raising an argument about whether or not this is a legitimate deal!.

Perhaps that's why you've never bothered to post a deal?

Oh come on.

The same company has had a Range Rover, BMW M4, A-Class Merc and now this Audi all for less than £6k over 2-3 year terms.

It's clearly a misprice (which the financing company will not honour) or a form of data collection.

Based on that, this site would grind to a halt and would only feature opportunistic visits to B&M Bargains where some eagle eyed shopper managed to get a bag of maltesers for 15p and alike.

The information is there for you to do with it as you please, some will follow it up, some with pour scorn and some will choose to ignore as they feel it's too good to be true/seen it all before. I leave it to you to assess and decide for yourself which camp you are in. All I and many other original posters do is furnish you all with information. What you do with it is your business, sadly too many bend back their fingers and unleash a keyboard tirade with half arsed logic, pompous "told you so" and conjecture.

Perhaps it is, but all the prices for other models and/or mileage limits seem to tie in. If it was in isolation I could understand unless all the advertised prices are governed by a single value which has been entered incorrectly.

The 'get deal' link has now gone dead. Not only that, all personal lease deals have gone offline from their website, presumably to fix the error. I think that's enough proof.

Expired.

awesome for the price (if true).

If every too good to be true deal never got posted here on hukd would that make you happy?

Sometimes these deals pan out, sometimes they don't. I got a cracking deal on a Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G tablet because vodafone honored a misprice. I found that deal here and was very grateful. I posted a deal on here for a Samsung 8" Galaxy Tab 4G and that ended up being a misprice - but a good number of people including myself got one out of it.

By your logic you'd prefer no-one post any such deals. Thankfully this site isn't run by you!.

It did do originally when the Op posted it. Unfortunately it does look like this was mis-priced and has now been spotted and rectified. Win some lose some I guess!

A misprice on a Samsung Galaxy tablet is completely different to a misprice on a car - the former value being about £200 and the latter value being £5000+.

I've lost count the amount of times I've benefitted from a misprice on HUKD/MSE/10 ways etc. I've posted mispriced items myself. I've even posted a Fiat 500 lease deal where the total cost was incorrectly priced by £500 over a 2 year term.

I feel that common sense just went straight out the window today with some of these lease deals.

£60k Range Rovers, BMW M4s etc. over 3 years for £6k?! They should be at least £20k over 3 years.

£32k Audi A5s, Merc A-Class AMG lines for £5k over 2 year terms?! They should be at least £10k.

How you can compare those misprices vs Samsung Galaxy Tab is beyond me.

if a better than normally expected deal was borne out of this post, due to the Op making people aware, would that not still make posting it worthwhile?.

At the end of the day it's not about what you or I think, it's about what the Op and those that feel benefit from the heads up think. Enjoy the benefits the contributors of this site give to you for free - many of whom get little thanks for it.

Comment is free... let people post what ever comment they want.

Getting in a huff because people don't like your deal, well it seems like the fault is with the OP.
