I can only presume that you’re basing your assumptions about the engine on mainstream technology from 20 years ago. You may want to educate yourself a little.

Literally not a joke, It's an obsolete attitude to get hung up over engine size, it's a yank idea to think "there's no replacement for displacement". There is a replacement and it's called a turbo, these have the same power and more torque than the old 2.0 FSI engine. The newer models on the MQB platform are also far lighter than the predecessors.

BECAUSE, Clown!
S-Tronic always cost more so this is quite a good deal, 5,000 is a bit low mileage though.

Executive is the style and comfort, not the size of the engine.
The mileage is a killer for me, other than than mildly hot

Don't actually know for sure but would imagine it's 10p+vat a mile, at least?
double the mileage to 10k and it works out at 4.5p+vat upto the extra 10k over term, if that makes sense
Smart looking Audi.

Maybe not, but you don't get a car like this to potter around town. A 1.4 is not a motorway muncher.
I think thats a cracking deal for the money and the spec of car your getting! Nice find

what does this retail at, kids?
This is a decent deal for smart looking German car. Yep it’s a 1.4 but it’s more than reflected in the price. Power output is 150bhp from what I remember.

This comes with the auto box. Normally a premium is payable for autos with leasing (and buying I guess).

I’ve said many times before. If you can buy this car new and then sell it two years later for less than £6,625 then vote cold.

My suspicion is that you can’t. In which case this is a hot deal. It’s that simple.

Thanks for posting.
I want one

I would just be very careful-my pal got a cactus on one of these kind of deals, and he parked it up when he got close 2 his mileage limit and bought a cheap run around as it was better value-as always, read the small print, 5k miles is half the average so very low and its how they make their money

I got given 1.0 TFSi as a courtesy car last week. Was very surprised with the power and even on the motorway no issues overtaking on third lane etc.

Yes mileage is low but for someone like me who does 4k a year it's ideal.

My current one is 8k a year and I've only done 9k and it's going back next month. My excess mileage is 6p+vat. Read the small print as everyone charges different.

What we need is facts. ‘My mate said...’ stories don’t help anyone.

To increase this to 8k miles per year it is only an extra £265 over the 24 months (or £11.54 per month).

You seem to think that 5k is half the average mileage in this country. I disagree. However, to increase to 10k miles per year is £453 over the term. All fairly in line with what you’d expect bearing in mind the depreciation associated with extra mileage.

Of course there is another issue and that is going over your agreed allowance. Well if this finances by VWFS, which is quite likely then it will be fairly reasonable. 10p plus VAT as mentioned above sounds about right. I have a VWFS similar sized car and extra mileage is 6p plus VAT per mile.

Let’s stick to the facts.

Quite likely??
And fairly reasonable??
Thought we were sticking to facts??
The FACT is that there is a mileage limit, agree? Why do sites like this enable you 2 give an opinion that people might find useful then call you out because you have??
It was advice, they put mileage limits on and can charge a lot of money for going over it, not my mate said this hearsay rubbish, its FACT, and I mentioned it because 5k mileage is very low, especially when u you take into accout the post says buisness AND personal, buisness use would probably use the 5k in 2 months.

Can you get this without the initial rental upfront?
I thought this was a good deal.
I think some have missed the point that you can increase the mileage to whatever you need
It isn't a limit either, the car doesn't stop working once it gets to 10k miles.
On my current lease, it was cheaper to go with 5k and pay the excess than go with 8k. Paying the excess got me 9k for the same money.

If you can't see the benefits, probably best buying.
