WOW.

Not the large Audi I'd prefer, but an impressive discount.

Quick question, How much does it cost to register a car ? is there more tax you have to pay to register ?

Nice discount, but wouldn't a lease deal be more cost effective?

I want one...

Ta OP.

The A8 and your name reminds me of the film Ronin.

Not my type of car but definite heat required

if anyone can post where to borrow £37000 interest free

Is be careful with the leather seats, mine have creased badly and it's only six months old

The leather seats are worth more than my car

Way over priced to start with, I would still opt for a 7 series.

I know what you mean.

I have the same problem in my Fiat Punto.

no that's not a super widescreen tv but the windscreen.

Had a brief look on eBay on the 2011 model is advertised around £25k (+/-£2k) which suggests c£12k depreciation over 3 years.
Over 36 months that's £333 pm. I doubt you'd get that on lease deal (incl deposit) so this seems a very good alternative... If you have the capital upfront. Financing the purchase may not make it as sweet a deal

Recently bought a six month old one, similar new deals were around through brokers when I was shopping. If it matters this will probably be the pre facelift although there are very few changes and I was happy to take the saving. These are vastly underrated cars IMHO, very smooth compared to steel sprung models lower down the range that end up costing at least as much when you compare the specs of the six cylinder engine, Quattro, air suspension, double glazing. They are off the radar of private buyers and don't weigh too much and handle well. Depreciation sting is worst from new list price, bought at discount not too bad. I wanted refinement, ride quality, six cylinder engine, auto, four wheel drive (plus winter tyres for Scottish hills) and for the money I could find no competitor.

Which of course is the bargain of the century

your dad

A7 doesn't come with air suspension and adjustable dampers as standard, one I tested rode firmly but didn't handle well enough to be a good compromise. Also prefer the ZF 8 speed to the DSG, suits the car better.

It's not 4k. Cold.

God damn thats a nice car...

Waiting for it to drop to £37,504.99 and then I am gonna go for it!

When I looked at the A7 (admittedly 18 months ago now) the ZF8 was available with some engines. If I recall correctly the standard 3.0D had DSG while the bi-turbo had the ZF8. I do agree the ZF8 is excellent, have it on my car and for the first time haven't found myself pining for a manual/auto clutch manual.

dad currently has a Q7 and the rear seats are being used less and less.

Worth the upgrade?

Also does anyone know if this is longer than the Q7?

Nope, still looks the same. It takes me a while to spot the difference from the back if I'm seeing either an Audi A4, A6 or A8. A5 and A7 stand out better but still, they drive the same ish. I like Audis though.
