The acceleration is unbelievable! The fuel economy lets it down though!;)

I get the same problem with all my supercars.
£2591.89 initial payment and then £287.99 per month with 10k mileage makes more sense imo
The retail on these is about £30k I believe if anyone's interested

Yeah that's still reasonable , i have read a lot that just going over the mileage is cheaper though, somewhere i saw the figure 7.2p per mile so for 5000 extra miles at that rate , 360 quid to double your mileage.

If that's anything close to the correct mileage its a way better deal than selecting the 10000 mile option from the start which would work out at about 768 above this , roughly

For me i only need 5k, but peace of mind i will not have any problems going over.

based on the above though, it seem stupid to take anything other than a 5k deal and use additional mileage as required, at least you will use every mile you pay for then too even !
Pay a £2k premium over an identical Golf R?

Pay a £2k premium over an identical Golf R?

Deal price is for golf is 7487 at the moment , so about 1.2k cheaper over term, audi is slightly more prestige so i guess it figures, both are on offer , s3 is usually more expensive though.

both are pretty good tbh, and the deals with select are on 3dr 5dr , dsg, manual , id check them out if you are interested.

Fingers crossed i still have a golf r estate deal under the belt from them a few weeks ago.

This is not identical to golf r now. It's a 2017 facelift, standard leather, standard satnav, 7 speed dsg. 310bhp now 20 more torque. Ive ordered just waiting for credit check
And it's 6000k minimum miles per year after signing up

I'd stick to the much cheaper option. I'm not gonna pay a £2k premium for 10hp more and a leather seat.

I've got the golf r now so didn't want to lease the exact same car again. It works out the same as what I paid originally 18 month ago for r which wasn't the best deal at the time. But I get metallic, sat nav and leather. I'm hoping the r400 will be out after s3 deal

Really not worth it, 14 more HP so about 5% more power and about 8% more torque, and possibly higher tax?
I'm very interested in this but the exact spec(co2?)& options I cant seem to find which makes me slightly hesitant ...

Audi car configuration doesn't let you choose any of the S3's but it should have some notable features: LED headlights, 7sp DSG, leather, satnav. Cruise control and rain sensors are now standard, they weren't before(+£200)...parking sensors(+£300) still don't seem to be standard nor is hillhold(+£90).

I work it out as basically £10k with vat over 24months with 20kmiles which is good for this all rounder of a eco-ish fast car.
Golf R always looked the better deal as so many of those options came as standard, now its slightly closer, more so if add leather seats to the Golf.

These guys look to have a similar deal so I've asked them to confirm: nationalvehiclesolutions.co.uk/Aud…712

I used the Audi configurator App on the iPhone. Has more info on it, shows it with the new head lights this is how I knew it was the facelift. Click around on the colours (that aren't shown and they appear). Hope This helps
I have emailed about this car and they won't be delivered until Jan/Feb 2017

Very interested in this to replace an expiring Golf R. Is the DSG gearbox included in this price as the selectcarleasing website indicates manual gearbox?

It's £10 more I think for dsg. And he said £5 more for metallic which I'm going to go for, they have new paints available to, nano grey seems appealing. Reviews with golf r vs current model s3 lean towards the golf being a better driving experience, however after reading reviews on the new facelift s3 it seems it has had tweaks on the engine management etc making it a lot more exciting to drive
Will look at this. Had an A3 2.0TFSI s-line but find the ride in the Golf R a lot less firm. The S3 is definitely a nicer looking car than the Golf. Tough one.
