This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

I've been a lapsed (I've not been paying the monthly fee) audible member for a few months and realised I'm about to finish Brandon Sanderson's awesome Mistborn book 2 and didn't have book 3...crikey!

So anyway, thought I'd try my luck with the link and found it works, I've paid the £3.99 for this month and already used my first credit.

The T's and C's say new members only etc. but worth a go if you're not a new member, and a great deal if you are.

The offer ends on Saturday at 23:59.

Worked here too, thanks a lot, 4 months at 3.99

Been listening to Michael palin recently. So good
There's also a current TopCashback offer for 3 months for £3.99 each and £10 cashback.

Although I did it a few days ago and it hasn't tracked so far.

Thanks OP I had just completed a three months at 3.99 offer and cancelled a couple of days ago and this worked for me (all audible cookies cleared).
Worked for me, thank you
Can you set up a second account and use the credits to gift your primary account books?

I guess that's going in my wishlist then - I'd somehow missed that. I've listened to Elantris, Stormlight Archive Trilogy and Skyward so far as well as the aforementioned Mistborn books, but just can't get enough of his writing

You probably already know this, but the sequel to Skyward (Starsight) came out less than 2 months ago. In my opinion it's even better than the first.

If you're loving the Brandon Sanderson books, then I heartily recommend the Mistborn series. The first 3 books are the amongst my favorite fantasy novels and Michael Kramer is an excellent narrator

Just about to finish The Well of Ascension, have the hero of ages waiting I'll probably get starsight after I'm done with the hero of ages.

Also recommend the Genrtleman Bastard 'Sequence' and of course, The Kingkiller Chronicle

A slight warning about the Kingkiller Chronicle linkl:
• books 1.5 and 2.25 are short story collections with lots of other authors and are in no way essential reading
• book 2.5 follows a character from the main books and is very 'different' as there's no speech in it. Basically a masterclass in descriptive writing. I can't completely recommend it as some people might find it boring but I really enjoyed it (I normally listen in the car whilst driving to and from work) but it might (probably) have a lot of interesting things in it relating to book 3....if we ever get to read it

Do you know if you cancel your audible subscription if you lose all of the books? I’ve heard rumours about this & fearful of cancelling!

If like me you have read/listened to all of them then I'd also recommend The Riyria chronicles, excellent stories (which actually come to a satisfying conclusion after the 3rd book) and a brilliant narrator. After them there are 3 prequels and then a whole new multiple series of books in the same universe.

Looks right up my street thank you. I've added them to my wishlist. It'll be interesting to 'read' something from someone new.
Can anyone confirm if it's possible to download books to listen without a network connection? I have a long flight to Australia next week and was thinking of adding a book or two to listen whilst in the air.

A bit sceptical if it's possible because I had the same idea for Netflix, but when flying a couple weeks ago it required internet access even to watch things I'd downloaded to my device - found that very odd.

yes - you download to your device and listen through the APP - Have another look at Netflix as you can access and watch downloaded things offline... had it expired?
Brandon Sanderson has been my fovourite for some time, come from J.r.r Tolkein as a kid. Honestly reading comments above many have similar taste. Been working my way though Joe Abercrombie but found it a bit bleak at times so bounced between that and Terry Pratchett.

I just wanted to mention two more names I have got really into LitRPG books Aleron Kong The land series was excellent in audiobook and maybe Travis Bagwell.

Thats what I have read or am reading mostly on audiobook. I recommend looking at goodreads to find other things you might like.

That's some more added to my wishlist then - didn't even know litRPG was a thing but I love RPGs so guess I can't go wrong!
Honestly I've got about 2 years worth of listening just from these comments. Thanks all!

Just to add another recommendation off the fantasy track (and it may be a stereotype for Audible in general), but I really enjoyed Sherlock Holmes: The Definitive Collection narrated by Stephen Fry.

It's a bit of a slog at times during the full novels but the short stories are awesome and I loved hearing about life back in the day and listening to the type of language they used...the 16 year old me laughed at quite a few places.

Plus it's nigh on 72 hours long so you definitely get your money's worth

If you’re into fantasy and a bit of roman fiction at all i recommend Stiger’s Tigers.

The offers they give you are normally dependent on the reason they give you for cancellation, but they're normally all good

I'm not sure anyone actually pays full price for it, I kind of feel bad but they make it so easy so I guess it's all planned into their pricing structure.
Thanks OP been debating listening to some audiobooks as I'm getting a bit bored of just podcasts on the daily commute so this seems ideal. Thanks again!

Me either, I’ve read everything apart from incomplete series (George rr Martin hand Patrick rothfuss taught me this) I’m waiting on the stormlight archive until book 5 is announced (the last one in the first stormlight story with 10 in total. Also waiting for the final book in the second mistborn series before starting those. Plus there are more skyward books planned so stalled there too. Luckily he’s fast

The riyria revelations are actually the main series, riyria chronicles are the stand alone prequels.
I’d go for the main revelations first then go back to the prequels, not how I’d normally do things but more satisfying imo.
The story is good standard fantasy fare but it’s the character work that makes it stand out. Hadrian and Royce are great characters and play off each other brilliantly. Like characters from a really well written buddy cop or heist film

Agreed. These are great. Very grim and the main characters do horrid things though so don’t go in expecting light and fluffy fantasy. This is George r r rather than j r r
Offer isn’t working for me, it says invitation only.
